Really happy the Griz did not get the Thomas's

What's funny is that it isn't the opposing teams posters making the Griz look bad. It's Growler.

Nope, it's some idiot Cat posters, not G1, who look bad on this one. I agree with G1 that some Cat posters ought to hit the road, if they can't clean up their acts. Comparing 2 felony drug distribution charges (where the facts have been admitted) to a misdemeanor DUI arrest and not-guilty plea is ridiculous.

its OK PR, pfluffy drinks from the same well you do :thumb:

they are all innocent until proven otherwise, throw the team rules contract out the window.

Oh geez PR. You are full of it. If Conner was a griz recruit you would be on here defending him so god damn fast telling everyone to let the legal system run it's course, just like every single time a griz player has been charged with a crime. Did I miss something and has Conner been convicted of something? Maybe it was a bogus, coerced confession because the po po wanted some payback after the last run in. That's exactly what you'd be throwing around here if this guy had signed with the griz like they wanted. Remember the guy that killed someone and then after the Oj acquittal, got arrested for biting a woman? Ya, you were on here defending him every step of the way. Its called bias, and its expected, but don't pretend you aren't.

What three in a row? Anything specific here? Just wondering of what you're alluding to. Just curious.

Looks like he may be trading his MSU jersey for a MSP jersey. Foxsports has a article stating he admitted selling brownies for $15. Sad.

Lets all admit it. The Cat-Ps have won! They beat us by getting Thomas.

Why heck shucks, we all would be defending his second round of drug abuse.

And the selling of pot laced brownies for only $15. Way to cheap!

Smart Ash dumped him, was dumb Ash for getting him.

Glass houses?

pr is probably correct 99.99999% of the time on what he's saying, but you've nailed why he's so hard to stomach. lawyers take an oath to be biased.

15 dollars for a brownie is a decent/little expensive price for just one...IMO Dui is way worse than what this kid did. Nate Montana was driving drunk and endangering peoples lives. So this kid just sells some brownies to some kids and all it's going to do is make them laugh and have a good time then pass the fuck out. DUI>a brownie.

jcu, are really this big of an idiot? Both acts are illegal. Nate Montana allegedly drove drunk, which can endanger others, but in this case did not. Connor allegedly distributed illegal drugs to others for profit. I do not condone either action, but I fail to see how DUI > pot brownie with the actual circumstances.

I hear Forcier is looking for a home. Sounds like he might do quite well down there at your little college.

The best way to deal with these highly respectable posters....just block (foe) them. You no longer have to read their insightful posts...jcu is gone!

all jcu needs to do is take nate's name out of that scenario and replace it with 'if someone' and he's spot on. admit it. you know it's way more dangerous to operate a vehicle drunk, or stoned for that matter, than it is to sit around a room whacked on mj brownies. if we want to stack up to how strict msu is, then we'll need to dole out some dismissals for dui, per se or full on. personally, i want to see both schools lighten up. actually we're ok, msu and our screwy legal system is messed up.

Wow, so many of you are idiots. DUI is far more dangerous, who knows what could of happened if he didn't get pulled over. What alcohol does itself makes it more dangerous and worse. It's funny how you all act like you always obey the law. I bet you break the law all the time without even realising it.

jcu, you can not base the case on what could have happened, you must base the case on what did happen. I am not saying DUI is not dangerous, but Nick is accused of DUI and not vehicular manslaughter. I do realize that driving under the influence can lead to death etc., but in this case it did not. What you have is a young adult that has history of DUI arrests and one that has a history of drug use and distribution. I think the distinction here is that even though a DUI can endanger others, no one else was involved, while in the other case, the distribution of illegal drugs did involve others. Nick was lucky that he was stopped before he hurt someone else. If Connor was arrested for possession and not for distribution, I would think differently. I also believe that past history of the Bobcat program, with the O'Brien incident and the other drug related attention that the Bobcat Program has gotten over the past 5-10 years made it a no brainer in their decision.

The only problem I have about this whole thing is that this guy sells some brownies and everyone freaks out and thinks he shouldn't play anymore, with Nate Montana people didn't even really seem to care that much. I haven't seen or heard anyone saying Nate shouldn't be able to play or anything....It's really quite ridiculous and hypocritical.

Exactly. Pretty much night and day discipline between FLU and ASH. Thomas booted from Cats w/o even waiting for his day in court. That will carry over to each others team. There was a reason the Griz teams were so sloppy and undisciplined last year.
