Bear Axed there is no one saying he should walk on if he is convicted of a felony! I think your the one under the influence as your observation and reasoning powers seem to be absent. He may have blown his scholarship or an opportunity to walk on even if he is acquitted of all charges.

Thx for the correction on the charges being filed. Besides a brownie being found and tested, these are a defense lawyer's problems: he apparently admitted that he sold marijuana brownies, he said he had put too much marijuana in the brownies, and he said he wouldn't say where he got the marijuana. In order to plead down the charges, he'll have to identify who he got the marijuana from. It's not going to be easy to get 2 felonies down to misdemeanors with these facts. Why do "smart" people admit everything before they talk to a other?

i don't think he admitted to selling them. just that he made them too strong. don't you think that he talked to the other users and essentially made these for them?

I believe it is distribution whether you sell or give marijuana. The recipients said they paid him $15 for them. Why does it matter if the other users had in fact asked him to make them for them?

I don't believe any Griz have been accused or charged of selling drugs. During Hauck's time, a frosh was riding with a Cat who was caught bringing a bunch of drugs with him on their drive to Montana on spring break, was immediately dismissed from the team. Smoking dope is one thing, but selling it and giving it to underage kids/friends is another thing. That's what drew 2 felony charges.

It can make fuel, clothing, paper, food etc. The government can make billions off just selling and taxing marijuana itself and would help a gret deal with our debt. It helps millions of sick people in many different ways. Then there was the kid who was in and out of a ton of foster homes and juvenile detention halls growing up, and then he got arrested for battery in a streetfight and they ordered him to work as a janitor at a prestigious engineering school even though he was smarter than all the students, and then he did a ton of math problems for fun, and then he had to go to these weird therapy sessions until he got better, and then he went off to California with a girl with a ginormous head and an annoying voice.

Both schools have had ugly incidents over the past decade. Assaults, DUI's, Drug related, theft. This stuff going back and forth like- we didn't do this or you had guys that did this- is all childish. This has nothing to do with what a high school kid did before he even stepped foot on a campus.
Your talking about a kid that had excellent grades and is an excellent athlete. He had one incident prior. I am sure he gave a good interview to coaches that were recruiting him. Then he goes out and does a really dumb thing. I hope he gets his life together and gets a chance at some school somewhere.

I drink beer. Thats it. I also get drug tested regularly. I have known and worked with potheads and they have no place on the jobsite in construction where one "high moment" could cost someone their lives. If you think it's safe you are just making excuses for your habit. Where do you work? I'm shocked you don't have to pass a drug test thats pretty much the norm in every trade now days and good for them.
