Wow, Sam Houston is getting schooled by Western Kentucky. It's 41-24 now after 21 straight points for WKU. I can't believe I paid for tickets to see SHSU in Hawaii. Anyone want to buy two tickets?

Not about the lightning. However, I just checked the Weather.com site for Montgomery. The city and surrounding counties are now under a Flash Flood Warning ... set to begin about 11 o'clock local time. Game canceled.
Yep, game declared "No Contest". Tough for both teams

Wow that sucks. When my kids were playing ball in high school, if the game got canceled in the second half due to weather then whoever was ahead at the time was the winner. Only if it was canceled in the first half was it as if it had never happened. This game was halfway through the fourth quarter already. So just calling it a no contest at that point seems unfair.
And for more important things, I'm wondering what will happen to our Big Sky pickem standings! Lol.
Long day for Davis. I'm sure they still had to fly home tonight, after playing 3+ quarters and then sitting around the locker room for multiple hours
That’s so lame that they declare it a no contest when there’s only 8 minutes left in the game. I get why they do but that just really sucks. I’d be interested to know when we get to Selection Sunday if they can look at this game for selection criteria if it doesn’t count. Despite not finishing both teams put a lot out there for their resumes.
The way Kaiden Pinnick played today is exactly the way the Griz need to get Ah Yat to play. Pinnick’s a freshmen and because of that, he went for all the safe throws. The check downs, the dump offs, and used his feet when needed (which we’ve seen Ah Yat do). Ah Yat is also still young and with our weapons he does not need to do anything heroic out there. Davis did a great job of putting Pinnick in a position to succeed tonight. Take notes Bobby and Pease.

No, they called it early and declared it no contest, so both teams are still 0-0.
