Only in one game was the Griz the better team.

  Thank you for this.
This is the most blubvat post ever.

It’s like a fake FG punt for a touchback on the opening drive of the NC.

The “one game” you’re talking about is the head-to-head matchup, right?

If so, I was there that day and the bubs sucked ass. Seriously, it was never in question. Total f###[#] blowout. After, I came on here and stared a “bobcats suck” thread, because they really, really suck.

They suck so bad they literally had three starting QBs quit this year. Think about that for a sec. It’s remarkable. Three QBs who all were former starters for the Bubs—and all still had eligibility remaining—just up and quit.

3 Former starters all said, “nah I’m good.” Have you ever heard of something so crazy? Only thing close I can recall is when the cowboy said “nah” to continuing in the Bubcat QB room after being a starter. Such a boobcat thing.

I swear about one year ago my neighbor tried telling me the Bubs had the “best QB room in the BSC.” All of those dudes in that room are now gone.

Come on Garrazilies, tell us, did you really graduate from UM?

Are you seriously suggesting the Bobcats were better than the Griz in 2021? If only there was a way we could have tested that. Perhaps a game of shuffle board? No. How about a football game? The team that gets its first touchdown with 42 seconds left in the game is the worse team. If they would have just done that we would all know for sure which team was better.

I did say the Cats were the better team over the course of the full season. It is evidenced by them going to the Natty. I also said the Griz were the better team in that one game.

So you subjectively "feel" like the Bobcats were the better team, but were 100% objectively worse than the Griz in their only matchup, which is the only way it was tested. I might think it isn't as far fetched if the Bobcats would've lost to the Griz on a last second fumble after a Griz coach called a late timeout or something. But that didn't happen. They got blown the F out, and won one (1)playoff game against a decent team on their way to getting blown the F out again. Not better in any way.

Sam Houston was a very good team too. However, I wouldn't expect a different comment from you due to your zeal for the Griz.

Understatement of the year award winner!

Kem, you just don't get it. Yes, of course, the Griz were better in one measly game that was played specifically to test which team was better. But, you see, I feel like the Bobcats had the better team "overall" if you throw out that one game. It's like when I got to play with Hideki Matsuyama and he shot 68 and I shot 80. If I throw out that round and take my best score from a different round, it's pretty clear that I'm the better player. #bobcatthings

Yes, and if that statement was made by a Griz fan after the prior Cat/Griz game in Bozeman, it would be an award winner!

But here's the thing about that: It wasn't made.

Oh, I think if we went back and researched comments made after that game, there will be a comment like that from a Griz fan.

Wtf? So you’re admitting you’re stupid?

You are like the gift that keeps on giving.

Which reminds me of a joke:

What sexually transmitted disease did The Fonz contract?

Hepatitis Eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Was.

Overall most here was very complimentary after the game. But there are always posters saying the same thing after the game was played. We played our best, you guys played your worst. We didn't win, you guys gave it to us. The game was fluky with your early turnovers that we recovered. We won the game but no way we'd want to meet you in the playoffs.

Same old stuff rehashed year after year depending who wins the game.

I’m calling bullshit, old man.

Prove it! Post a link.

I know you can’t prove it. Not because such a comment does not exist. But because you are to mentally infirm and computer illiterate to find it and post it. You couldn’t “research” the issue with access to IBM’s Watson, nor post it without your grandson’s help who does not get out of school for a couple hours.

And it's always perfectly wrong, IMO. The only way it has any validity is if it's a close game with a controversial ending. It doesn't really apply to complete beatdowns.

I wonder how BigSky was able to make that determination. Were the Griz not better in the first game of the season too, when they beat UW and the Cats lost to Wyoming?

Take it easy on the fella, he just feels like MSU was the better team when compared to UM and cites games that didn’t involve UM in support. The most relevant data points in making this determination are the feelings of fans based on who was better overall and ignoring games that might shed some light on it.

Sure, you could get knocked out by prime Mike Tyson in 3.5 seconds, but as long as you won three other fights against middle schoolers in which Mike Tyson didn’t participate, you can lay claim to being the better fighter. The head-to-head matchup is irrelevant.

I'll only say this. The losses to Gris in both football and basketball x2 triggered some damn nice runs for the Bobcats. Thanks?

And you cannot even dispute a single thing I said?

So what good are you?

Wow. 3 starting QBs quit in about two months. Really? Has that ever happened anywhere else? Seems like such a #bobcat_thing
