Typical understated elegance in the statement by snap. Come to think of it, where are all the geniuses that said we were making a HUGE mistake hiring a coach that was from DivII and wasn't from Montana? How could he be imagined to recruit to the big leagues? How could he compete being from such a punk-ass division? How could he recruit in Montana without knowing the territory.

Appears to me the kid did pretty good so far.

95% of this was Delaney 5% Stitt. Lets wait until we see Stitts first class a year from now before we judge his recruiting prowess. He does however get :clap: :clap: for bringing Daum back to sanity!

Almost every decent recruit Delaney had verbal backed out or was let go. This class is about 80% Stitt...

Instead of ranking this class, which I like very very much, how about ranking past classes? Should be easier because all their achievements can be looked at, measured & compared to others. Plus it should be a fun discussion.

Let's see how these guys are contributing in 2-3 years. On paper it looks like an incredible class but it's hard to be sure when you haven't seen these guys do a single thing as a Griz.

Way to state the obvious. What's the point of a message board without conjecture and opinion. Your answer sounds like the text-book pro-athlete response to an interview question, something along the lines of, "We played well, couldn't have done it without my teammates. But it's already in the past we're thinking about the next game now." That being said, haven't had a chance to watch all their hudl videos, but I really like Holden Ryan and think he's one of the top 5 recruits in this class.

Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with the ability to bring calm and rational thought to a F@&$ing free-for-all. Who's gonna do it? You? You, AG1, Hammer, AZ? BW has a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You complain about the suppression of opinion & conjecture and curse the obvious. You have that luxury. On paper this class appears great. As for Stitt, imagine what kind of recruiting ass kicking he can do with a full year to recruit. He did a hell of a job in the short time he had to get who he did. Great job by Delaney and his staff as well.

In terms of "transitions," this is likely the best we can ever expect to see ...

I tend to agree with citay.....I checked couple recruiting sites and on paper we looked as good or better than about 25% pf fbs schools......sure it all on paper, but heck, as a fan it looks to be a homerun class for a fcs school imo......10

That is not remotely true. Last year there was a ton of negatives voiced about the recruiting class. Only a handful of kids stood out. This is the first year in several years I felt UM's class was better then state's class, even with some of your stud baggage you brought in from other teams. But on the positive side for UM, we still beat state 3 out last 4 years. Not good when you get out-coached by Delaney.
