That literally changed from the time I posted to the time you looked.
I dunno, I was checking it last night and we were 89 then, too. I made a post about how SDSU dropped to 5th.
I thought the bracket showing a potential for Montana's first two games to be NAU and MSU was a little silly, same for NDSU's potential first two being Mo. Valley teams. No one wants to see teams playing a couple rubbermatch games to get to Nashville.

Cats had such an easy road to the NC, crazy!!
I can at least understand Montana seeing NAU in the second round since we didn't play them in the conference this year. But if we were to face off against the Cats in the playoffs, my hope would be that it's a semi-final game.

Yeah I saw that. I can’t see a world in which the Cats don’t get a top 8 seed unless they lose two more games.
Herder is already saying he'd put 11-1 SDSU over 12-0 Montana.

That Herder bracket would be the worst possible scenario for us.
That's actually insane that an undefeated 12-0 Montana team from the 2nd-strongest conference who would in this scenario be the Big Sky Champs and receive the auto-bid, would get the 4-seed. No way.Herder is already saying he'd put 11-1 SDSU over 12-0 Montana.

He's smoking Crack on this one, in that scenario I think it'd be really difficult to justify us as anything lower then the 2 Seed, especially if UND upsets one of the Dakota States or both

You gotta give them something for going to Bozeman and taking down the Cats. Sure it was bad against NDSU but they have shown to at least be better than MSU who is the 2nd or 3rd best Big Sky team with UC Davis.

If--big IF--if we win out and go 12-0, we should be at worst a # 2 behind NDSU, assuming the Bison
win out. If NDSU gets upset by UND, and finishes 11-1, we should be seeded # 1, though Herder would probably still have us seeded # 2.If SDSU also loses to UND and finishes 10-2, I hope Herder would at least no longer have a 10-2 Jack Rabbits

He doesn't really give much explanation in his actual bracket article but on Twitter he gives a lot of his reasoning. However some of it just doesn't really make sense. He says he based it on Tarleton, Montana, and SDSU all winning out, but then he puts 9-3 Montana State only one spot behind 12-0 Montana which I don't think would happen at all. And his reasoning for putting SDSU ahead of the Griz isn't all that great even if they do manage to win out which certainly isn't guaranteed considering their last game is against UND. Honestly it's all kind of a mess at the moment. The only guaranteed thing to happen is NDSU being at number one if they win out.
