Questions / comments for tonight’s GFP

Can Bobby look past his ego to adjust his schemes on both offense and defense. The current brand of RPO and 3-3-5 does not seem to be working. Is there way to put the OL under the microscope, as they have been suspect the last three years.

Is it possible the o-line needed to get punched in the mouth and embarrassed to get there s h I t together or are they just not good? I’m over the qb situation, I don’t think it matter what qb on the entire roster plays after the performance I saw yesterday.

They aren’t good. They haven’t been good for a long time.

Has any team ever lost a conference game on the road and still made an FCS playoff run?

How old do you have to be to think “For Sale Sign” jokes are as funny as they were 25 years ago? O/U 58.5.

I truly admire the delusion behind the thought that this team is in any way capable of a playoff run. Get real dude.

In his press conference Bobby made a comment that we are not anywhere near where we were last year at this time. He said we are not as good. My question is why? Isn’t it the head coaches job to sure things up at the end of a season? Why is it so hard to recruit big defensive lineman to Montana? Every other team seems to have them.

Your optimism is misplaced, we have looked terrible in 3 out of 4 games this year, offense has been regressing since last year and now the Defense is, you can't deny it. Hiring friends over best for the program has caused this, we need a clean slate and only treat Montana connections as a secondary need, quality hire first and foremost matters.

I’m missing where I said that in either of my questions. 🤷‍♂️Get reading, dude.

I’m not optimistic. I just asked two questions.

If I misunderstood that's on me, the whole "has any team lost a road conference game and made the playoffs" came off as we still have a shot aka optimism.

Then what exactly is your point?

Cause nobody else seems to understand this weird little fence-straddling act either.

1.) More of a comment than a post, but how is Vidlak going to get any better behind this offensive line? He has zero time to throw every play and is constantly running for his life. I feel like this line hasn’t improved in pass blocking in many years. Sadly, McDowell might be the answer because the team can’t seem to pass block at all, which will make the team even more one-dimensional.

2.) Did you guys notice that NAU ran a fake kneel down at the end of the first half. I feel like this should result in a penalty given the fact the defense isn’t supposed to rush on these plays.

Just that it’s still possible. Maybe not probable; but possible. I don’t like to give up on teams. Calling people delusional doesn’t do much. But, if you think I am, that’s fine. I’m still not giving up four games in.

I don't think there is anything we can do to prevent losses to Sac, Idaho and the Cats. They are heads and shoulders better than the Griz. And will probably lose to Davis and possibly Portland. Your thoughts.

Assuming you woke up after a coma and had to pick just one. Would you rather be:

1) a Griz fan for the rest of this season
2) a Denver Bronco fan for the rest of this season
