I think I would have after it appeared Brady was out of sorts with the overthrowns and interceptions in the Cal-poly game. I think you do him more harm than good by not briefly pulling him. I realize there are those that say gosh darn, Brady is the annointed starter and should never be rested, no matter if he self destructs or not. Maybe you are one of those?

No, that one was where Alpha just walked up to him and introduced himself while he sat at the bar. He went ghost white and said he had to use the mens room, only to leave out of the back door and not return. The very next morning came the FAMOUS post on the UGMG about he being an sniper from Vietnam who had killed in the past and had a concealed carry license and wouldn't hesitate to do so again to protect himself. The post prompted Gordon Terpe to immediately close down the UGMB. Others can chime in but that's exactly how I remember it. I was on the phone with Alpha as it went down.

Perhaps we should try to be like PSU and run multiple quarterback sets. We have the numbers to run 2 deep with 3 QB's on the field.
Three quarterbacks (Kieran McDonagh, Paris Penn, Josh Kraght) have seen significant playing time under center, while seven players among a stable of running backs have lettered (led by Steven Long and Nate Tago).

One wild card to keep an eye on: Paris Penn. He's a former quarterback who has now been labeled "utility quarterback" by coach Bruce Barnum. If you've never heard that term before, you're in good company, as it appears Barnum made it up in an effort to describe the multiple roles that Penn could fill on any given Saturday. He's a tremendous athlete, as evidenced by him blowing past WSU's corners early in last year's game before dropping what would have been a likely touchdown bomb. Look for PSU to try and get the ball to him in creative ways.

The Vikings fully bought into Barny Ball, an original offense that Barnum describes as "blue collar, tough, fundamental football.
"But every time I tried to say it, the team would make fun of me. So they named it Barny Ball and they ran with it," he said.
Last weekend was also the first NCAA-level game for Vikings quarterback Alex Kuresa, a transfer from Snow Junior College in Utah. Kuresa threw for just 61 yards, but led all players with 92 rushing yards in the pouring rain. Fellow quarterback Paris Penn was second with 57 yards rushing.
There is no quarterback controversy: Barny Ball, with its eclectic style that borrows a little from Mike Price and Dennis Erickson, employs both quarterbacks, and perhaps three.
