I'll be on the Willy Pflug bandwagon

The band is rocking, and we have chicks and beer and red meat on the wagon. Welcome.

Big talk when the wife isn't around... :D :D :D

I can only imagine what is happening at the CDA household...

My guess is Simis. He is a coaches kid, has the ability to run, with a pretty good arm. He is pretty athletic and very strong, which will help with durability.

This may look familiar to some: 8-)

Not sure who first said it, but I'm PRETTY sure he's a goddamned genius. Not CDA-level genius, but MENSA genius nonetheless....

Honestly. I don't care who the next quarterback is. Whoever is managing the offense won't make me any more or any less of a Griz fan. I am not a fan of a team based on who's running the offense and executing the plays, or even what kind of plays they're running.

Stitt wants to start Will Pflug? Super. Chalich? Go for it. Simis? Rock on, brother. Prather? Bring it on...

Better runner? Better passer?....it REALLY. DOESN'T. MATTER.
Young (Pflug)? Old (Prather)? Doesn't concern me.
Original recruit or drop-down transfer? Whatever.
Coach's son? Bankers son?....couldn't care less.
Montana boy or out of stater? Doesn't mean a thing.

What I WANT is to see the Griz ascend the mountain again and get back to our rightful place atop the BSC throne, throttle the Eagles and Bobcats with regularity and make annual deep runs in the playoffs. I don't care if those games are won 10-6, 56-51 or 56-6 and I don't care who's under center while its being done. Any QB on the roster that can make that happen and prepare us for our eventual move into the Mountain West Conference is alright in my book--I don't care WHAT his last name is.

Pflug or Chalich. Saw Chalich in high school and the guy is the real deal. Plug is a Freshman and so i would give the edge to Chalich if he transfers.

I tried to get people to predict the score of an upcoming game a few times, and it was an impossible task. Like trying to pull a fat man through the eye of a needle.

People would say, "Well, if the Griz play like they did against ____________________, the score will be 38-7, but if they turn the ball over nine times, we'll lose by 30, but maybe they'll have the fire and swagger, in which case we'll win by 79. But Jesus, we have world-class talent on the field and an ancient plow horse roaming the sidelines..."

And I would explain, yes, there are many variables, but you have to choose the most likely one, and predict one score, and one score only. But they would not make a prediction.

So I feel your pain.

Really? A quarterback who couldn't hold the starting job at the absolute worst FBS school in the country is the clear front runner for QB 1 at FCS Montana?
Let's hope not.

So true. If Pflug looks the best in practice, he will start against NDSU. But if Chalich comes and looks good, he could get the start. Then again, maybe Simis will get the start because he is the kind of QB Stitt likes. It could be the Hawaii kid if he transfers and looks good in drills. It's just too early to know for sure, and therefore, I cannot make a prediction, because I don't know what "prediction" means.

Because Idaho! Haven of exceptional coaching....?
Also, where did ANYONE say he was the "...clear front runner..."?
No need to answer. It was a rhetorical question.

I figure coach Stitts is going to watch about a zillion vids of each over the winter so I'll bow to his decision. I'm with the Stitter.

I have to say it, this argument is flawed, and just dumb.

The real question is though, will he be best in space?
