QB sneak??!!

With Van going down with an injury I expected way more touches for Counts, he didn't get any of Van's carries. Counts would have done just as good and I am sure better than Canada did against Poly, just because he is bigger and stronger and runs north and south. But I am thankful for the W!

Anyone with a lick of sense would feed him the ball on a regular basis this Saturday, but I'm starting to feel like our dueling OCs don't even have that between them...

Yes I believe counts should have been in the game. However, since he wasn't it would have been nice to see Canada run behind Danny Kistler. He makes a very large hole for canada to squirt through. It happened only twice this game and had the largest gains for canada. Tlime to let this big bodied line push their weight around. If I need a yard or two, it goes to Wilson behind Kistler!

The Griz had some success running right up the middle, but they hardly ever do it, they run left alot, then they run right alot, they never seem to mix it up at all. And Canada has been putting the ball on the ground once a game it seems like.

Obviously we watched different games. I don't recall any good runs up the gut. And btw counts is not 100% right now. One week we bwhine about jj getting hit too much them we whine he didnt QB sneak. What a joke. . Seriously we kept trying to run because you can't just be one dementinal. That's why...did we stick with it too long...maybe but oh well. Canada was not getting anything so we all complain stop running...then we get to the 5 and everyone wants to run. It was a smart move to not run. Wilson dropped a td, should have got a pi call on his other to him. Then a throw away and a td pass. Which was an AWESOME CALL BTW. perfect play theywere saving there

What's with the doubting of posts and posters that actually have good information on thid board? MtFankb often has good information. If you actually have information to the contrary, post it. But assuming you don't, why make a post like you did. Look at some of MtFankb's posts. You can see that he often provides good information. Some posters softpedal what they say, because they are pretty sure, but not 100% sure, and don't want to overstate or mislead.

The 2002 roster says Edwards was 6'1", 200. This year's roster says JJ is 6'1", 200. JJ is very strong. May be a bit under 200 at this point of the season.

Jensen runs the QB draw pretty effectively at NDSU, even on the goal line. There's been times this year where the play has been there with a 5 yard hole in the middle of the line, but I think you're right about the coaching staff not wanting to risk Johnson's health any more than necessary.

But for this week at least, I think anything's possible playbook wise, I wouldn't be surprised to see Johnson pull it down a few times.
