That's becasue most people have you on "ignore". 8-)

Dude, when you quote him, we have to see what nonsense he wrote.

Then put me on ignore dumb ass. I should get paid for schooling some of you. Try to keep up.

You are on ignore. But I sometimes click through when I think you might be looking for something . . . up your butt.

Really depends on the system that we have and who the OC's are. It's going to be Gustafson or Simis, the interesting thing is that it could be eerily similar to the Bleskin v Prukop position battle, to some extent. (No, not saying Gus and Simis are Bleskin and Prukop clones).

Gus is a good pocket QB that can be mobile if needed. He has a strong arm and is on-page more often than not with his WRs. He's looking like he's "getting it" with what's expected of him at QB and where his throws need to be, etc. Biggest issue is that he is a gunslinger, takes way too many risks.

Simis is more athletic, he can run and make guys pay for not keeping an eye on him. He's not as good of a passer (that I've seen) compared to Gus. Still looks to be adapting to the pace of FCS but I assume that next year he'll be there. Doesn't have as strong of an arm from the casual observation I've seen.

So, it comes down to the offense. If we have a system that needs more zone read and a mobile QB that will give Simis the inside track (but won't rule out Gus). If it's more like what we see right now when we need a QB to be at his best in the pocket and using our stable of dangerous WRs, then give Gus the advantage.

FINALLY. Thanks, BW. :thumb:

First order of business, get Walcott and Naccarato and Henderson healthy. Then put Jones and Rogers and Burke and Janssen on the field. Then let Gus and Simis and Pflug start chucking it all over the field, and see where we end up. Let 'er rip!

Yeah, it is tough talking football, instead of swilling Kool-Aid. At least I can intelligently and objectively talk football. You might want to try it some time. Of I forgot, your head is neck-deep into the Kool-Aid pitcher. Ever hear of spell check?
If by "objectively" you mean spinning everything to a negative and viewing everything from a glass-is-half-empty point of view then sure, you're objective.

This is proper advice. Don't forget about Will Weyer either. QB is looking damn good for the next few years.

Put me on ignore, Rim-Job. You never talk football anyway. I only want to interact with smart people.

You hacks need some levity to your constant homerism. Every poster from other teams says the same thing about our team as I do. That's why every other fan base thinks ours are the most pompous pricks in all of FCS football. It is guys like you who give us that reputation. Except that I am a Griz fan, just a realistic one who doesn't try to put lipstick on a pig. If you think you and your fellow hacks represent the majority of Griz fans, you are sadly mistaken.

I sat at a sports bar table last game with 8-10 knowledgeable Griz fans, and we all agreed about the coaching staff, the lack of offensive scheme, and many other things that you call me "negative" about. You hacks can keep your glass-half-full mantra going and you will be on board as our ship continues to sink into mediocrity with the direction it is going with this staff.

I speak for the silent majority of Griz Nation. You 10-20 boys spend your time in a perpetual circle jerk on this board thinking you are being good fans.
