QB Club Tickets

I would be cool if they looked into seats bought with QB club/GSA codes (they will know the seats they are) and if show up on resale sites they revoke their memberships

They did say they were tracking if the Promo Code was being shared by non club members. Which is good. I don’t think there are QB club members actively placing their seats on third party sites. In my case I had 4 family members going. So I got 4 tickets all together through QB club.

I also purchased two tickets a month ago that are not associated in any way with QB club that I am now selling just because I don’t need two more tickets. I bet a decent amount of people are in a similar boat.

I have absolutely no problem with anyone reselling ones they got on their own once they got UM allotment ones. Pays to think ahead.

Yep, if they pay GSA dues for each seat. Why should QB members get to buy four tickets?

My guess is that most of the QB club members have four seats anyway and to be honest based on support I have no issue with a four seat option/max. Based on the people who sit near me in my section almost all are 4 seat owners and a few 6 seat owners. I know this is a small sample size but my guess is that to maximize opportunity 4 might just be the median number based on ticket holders. The max four prevents the businesses or large group holders from getting blocks of tickets. All in all it's a tough situation for the ticket office given the demand but I assure there are programs that get allocations for bowls (or playoffs) that don't even sniff selling out. It's hard to make everyone happy and I have never had an issue with the ticket office, they always try to help even if they can't always accommodate...

Me too in regards to the ticket office. They're a great group of people that work with a poor ticketing system.

Got 2 via GSA, woot! " Tickets distributed by venue at a later date" and also says general admin so not sure if their seats? Or standing room only?

I bought my tickets at the Adams Center this morning. They announced to those of us in line that they would not be assigning seats until next week. The seats would be in Sections 103 to 109, the end zone and SRO. So we'll have to wait to see where our seats are.

So am I understanding that some of the tickets we purchased could be Standing Room Only?? That seems...odd.

Agreed...highly unlikely the school allocation included SRO tickets...

So you're saying that the season ticket holders who have 6 or 8 seats (or more) should have been able to buy that many seats? Not sure that makes much sense...

Why shouldn’t we. The QB club pumps a great amount of money into the program as well?

QB club was told the tickets would be between 103-109. So I’m assuming as they go down the line the odds to get them in those sections diminish.

I'm not saying they should not get tickets or should not get priority. I think you should be able to get the number of seats you have. whether that is six or 1.

I heard 1000 tickets went to charters, last 250 were SRO. So some today got SRO apparently.

I think I read that charter tickets do not come out of the allotment.

I read that too here....this came from a different source outside of here and knowing where they work I believe it

SRO tickets were listed in the dropdown.

F' me, I should have not sold my resale seats if I end up with SRO from GSA. Didn't notice the drop down.

FWIW, the email that went out to SDSU people that didn't get a shot at tickets mentioned some standing room tickets will become available at later date.

I'm not selling extra tickets until I make sure the ones I bought today come with a seat.

You gotta remember there is a lot of crossover. Several people, such as myself are a QB Club Member, GSA member and Club season ticket holder. Does that mean I should get 12? Individuals like me only got access to 4 tickets, despite qualifying for them multiple ways. QB Club folks are always going to be prioritized because they unequivocally support specifically the football program in a much larger capacity than the average GSA member or season ticket holder. First rights to things like Championship tickets is part of the deal. Anyone can be a member. You give preferential treatment to the people who support the program in the greatest capacity. Just the way it works. Again, anyone has the right to join the club.

Nope. That means you have access to four tickets. Being a member of the qb club or a gsa member just gives you priority. It only costs $1,000 to be in the qb club so you're not giving a lot of revenue to the football program or the broader Missoula community. Businesses and individuals that have boxes and those in the Canyon Club pay far more to the University.

Will this be another Griztix screw up?

Per the email we got this morning it says: "All tickets will be delivered via mobile delivery. Unfortunately, you will not be able to choose your seat. Seats will be assigned automatically."

I will be extremely mad if I get SRO.

I'm in agreement that I should only get 4 tickets despite qualifying multiple ways. But Just because you have 10 season tickets doesn't mean you should be afforded 10 seats to the title game when the allotment is already small. They have to have limitations since there are like 19,000 season tickets.
