QB Club Tickets

been GSA for 20 years and have been trying since I received the code and can't get tickets....thanks to those who bought for non-GSA people or for re-sell....unreal.

Wow, I doubt there was a ton left for GSA members after the initial allocation. I was able to purchase 4 tickets within 2 minutes. The system didn’t seem to bog down, but my first effort to pay for them failed even without an error, which caused a second of panic. Tried again with no adjustments and it went through, with confirmation number and email. I hope everyone else in GSA was that was trying for tickets was able to get theirs.

We posted on the GFP about advice for tickets and a lot of regulars (mostly NDSU fans) who go regularly said that ticket prices will come down soon and not to worry as much about re-seller prices. I've heard that from the athletic department as well, while it's a little nerve racking, it should work out!

I would be cool if they looked into seats bought with QB club/GSA codes (they will know the seats they are) and if show up on resale sites they revoke their memberships

From my understanding, there was not a lot of people buying for non GSA people. The ticket office was adamant that they would rescind tickets if code was given to other people or of people on the charters bought other tickets. I don't know how enforceable it is, but they also said the big issue is that the majority of the tickets are sold early in the year when the tickets first go on sale. They did say that history has shown that the price of tickets goes down significantly and for the most part if you want a ticket, you can find one.

No dice on tickets for us too. 😥 Our young adult sons were very excited to meet up with their grandparents for this game but oh well...

I just listed my axs resale tickets I bought on Sat for only a small loss (fee rape) and they sold in 10 minutes. I thought it might take awhile and would at least get chance to see seats from GSA tickets. Hopefully don't end up in sro.

Prices not coming down. Griz nation is!

Thanks for the solace but I am not taking the chance on tickets for my daughter and myself and be sitting in a bar in Frisco watching it when I can be sitting at home and not pay for a flight/hotel etc., you all have a great time and yell loud! Enjoy it and GO GRIZ!

They were cross referencing QB Club memberships with those who purchased in the QB Club allotment and said if there were non-members who executed a purchase the tickes would be dropped and they would be refunded everything but the $10/ticket fee. So what you are asking for was actually happening.

Got 2 via GSA, woot! " Tickets distributed by venue at a later date" and also says general admin so not sure if their seats? Or standing room only?

I bought my tickets at the Adams Center this morning. They announced to those of us in line that they would not be assigning seats until next week. The seats would be in Sections 103 to 109, the end zone and SRO. So we'll have to wait to see where our seats are.

That is correct. It wasn't just QB club. Any tickets not purchased by QB Club, Suite holders, GSA board members, and any GSA member would be cross referenced. They are really doing their due diligence to get as many tickets into as many different hands as possible.

Why would they let people buy four tickets? It should have been limited to your season ticket number and two for the QB club or any other group they permitted to purchase tickets. if one of their goals was to get tickets in the hands of as many fans as possible.

So you're saying that the season ticket holders who have 6 or 8 seats (or more) should have been able to buy that many seats? Not sure that makes much sense...

Yep, if they pay GSA dues for each seat. Why should QB members get to buy four tickets?

They bought tickets following the rules, they can then do as they please with those tickets.

Actuallly..........they were given an email saying NOT to do such things before the code was given

They did say they were tracking if the Promo Code was being shared by non club members. Which is good. I don’t think there are QB club members actively placing their seats on third party sites. In my case I had 4 family members going. So I got 4 tickets all together through QB club.

I also purchased two tickets a month ago that are not associated in any way with QB club that I am now selling just because I don’t need two more tickets. I bet a decent amount of people are in a similar boat.

My guess is that most of the QB club members have four seats anyway and to be honest based on support I have no issue with a four seat option/max. Based on the people who sit near me in my section almost all are 4 seat owners and a few 6 seat owners. I know this is a small sample size but my guess is that to maximize opportunity 4 might just be the median number based on ticket holders. The max four prevents the businesses or large group holders from getting blocks of tickets. All in all it's a tough situation for the ticket office given the demand but I assure you there are programs that get allocations for bowls (or playoffs) that don't even sniff selling out. It's hard to make everyone happy and I have never had an issue with the ticket office, they always try to help even if they can't always accommodate...
