Not a bad 1st half. A few observations (1) Qvale looks very nervous against their post double teams. The other posts are much better against them offensively. Qvale needs to be ready to split the double team or get the ball out ASAP for open perimeter shots. EIther way, he needs to be more decisive.(2) If our shots start falling, we can beat PSU. (3) We have to keep Julius Thomas from dominating the boards. He alone has given them an extra 3 to 4 buckets.

I honestly feel we can win this game. They are better defensively on the perimeter and more athletic. We have the edge with our bigs. If the GRIZ get confidence, we can beat these guys.

Why does jack look so unskilled offensively. He is very solid on the boards and defense but watching him at times this year it almost makes you wonder how he ever scored 24 in the PAC 10. Still happy with his toughness. Now lets go out and have a great second half! GO GRIZ!!!

Stauds is playing good d but cant get open for a shot. Unless they set something up for him he wont score
We got to find some offense besides Sharp and AJ. Qvale needs to get out from under the hoop on D and box out Thomas on the weak side. That guy can leap. I think this is Qvale's game to win for us.
I like our chances as well although we might have to have CET and AJ take to the lane and win it at the line.
