PSU vs EWU

When they meet someone in the playoffs that doesn't fuk around.... Ewu is very good at making opposing teams pay for mistakes, picks/fumbles/penalties. They will run into teams this year in the playoffs that are going to play 4 full quarters of mistake free football and i'm afraid the long bomb tactic won't bail Ewu out at some point, that is when the luck will run out.

You should be happy about the officials calling that completely bullshit offensive pass interference call that took 6 points off the board and made it possible for EWU to come back from only 7 instead of 14. At least we don't have to listen to EWU fans complain about BSC officials when they play in Missoula anymore since that one took the cake for gifts.

No I'm not. I wasn't happy about any aspect of this game, except the result. That said, PSU was leading the Big Sky in offense coming into this game. I'll take the win, and the 8-0 Conference record and outright title.

And rightfully so, but jumping on us for saying your defense has been poor lately seems a little touchy, they've been lit up and have work to do before the playoffs.

Yup, not thrilled with the second half defense. PSU put in that QB from Butte that broke Aaron Rodgers records there and he is a handful. We were lucky to pull that out. Guess you know that feeling after a few of your games this season as well. I believe the consensus then was that is what good teams do.

Good luck tomorrow during the selection show!

It is Hannah, but the missed PAT is for sure a HUGE gift. The Eags couldn't put the Vikings away, so the Viking's kicker did it for them.

I agree it was a BS call, but with the way that game was going back and forth, it's doubtful that it was THE determining factor in the outcome of the game. PSU had plenty of chances. And please don't bitch about bad calls - even in Montanan's best years they were the gracious beneficiaries of many bad calls in many very close games. It is what it is.

Anyway, yes. Good luck in the selection show tomorrow. It looks like SHSU will most likely get left out of the playoffs, so that's good news for the Big Sky.
 
Congrats to EWU on BSC championship.

They dressed their guys in the ugliest uniforms they could find and they found a way to eek out a win in an ugly game on the ugliest field in college football in one of America's ugliest villages. Steve Buscemi should have done the coin toss.
 
Ya I don't like ewu's Red or Boise's Blue.

I can only guess the next school to do this will paint there field yellow....... I would hope someone would do brown though

i thought it was strange that EWU wore white at home. Apparently they didn't want anyone to know that they were the home team. I wouldn't claim " the rag" either.

Griz had a brown field before it was cool, back when WaGriz was natural grass. Well, After Thanksgiving anyways.

I'm thinking multicolored fields are the next big thing. Or maybe green-screen-lime so advertisements can be displayed on the broadcasts and the fans in the stadium don't have to look at them.
 
speaking of Eastern's camo uniforms...was it Hunter Appreciation Game? the camo wasn't digitized like the military now uses.
