Prukop?

Prukop lost his only playoff game and lost his only start against rival Montana. He compiled a 12-10 record during his two seasons as a starter, including 10-10 against Division I teams and 9-7 against Big Sky Conference foes.

“I think my legacy is combined with Coach Cramsey and it’s that we went in and we changed the offense,” Prukop said. “We changed offense in the Big Sky. We brought the Oregon-type offense to the Big Sky, the Oregon-type firepower and feel to the FCS. I think that’s something that is important. The revolution of offensive football, we brought the Oregon feel for things to the FCS level at Montana State. Montana State had been predominately in the past a defensive program and that shifted when we were there. It was a great experience, something I will never forget and it build me into the player I am today.”

That's what happens when you believe your own press...or the press that your "mentor" keeps reminding you about. Reality is about perception of reality, not actual reality. You know, "griz glasses"...get it now? :D

Apart from the ridiculous claims by Dakky Football (did he invent the question mark?), I highly doubt he speaks in broken English. Also, this nugget:

“That was a cool deal because me and Vernon had played against each other and developed a relationship there,” Prukop said. “We kept in touch here and there. We never really got to spend one-on-one time together. That was cool. He helped a lot with the decisions because they were such similar situations. He gave me incite for what to expect.

Has Colon lost control of his mom's guest room?

Colter seriously needs a proofer.

Might I suggest DBag Prukop, because he won't be doing anything in a year.

Will Prukop start at Oregon? I'd guess no, but I've been wrong before. Once. Okay, twice counting that "once" claim.

I guess coaches at Alabama and Oregon think different than you. I would place my bets on them.

I was not that surprised when Vernon Adams ended up on the Oregon football team, since I always felt he had great talent and ability.

However, I am very surprised that Prukop was recruited by Oregon. IMO he is not close to the talent and ability of VA. I doubt that he will be a starter at Oregon. Jordan Johnson was a better QB than Prukop. It will be interesting to see how he does over there.

10-10 (a perfect "Ron .500") against DI competition, and he's leaving a "legacy." Pretty amazing stuff.

The departure is bittersweet after teaching us all about the zone read and such!

So MSU had a QB that is good enough to be pursued by Oregon and Alabama and they still couldn't win a playoff game, beat the Griz or even finish above .500.
How crappy were they and are they really?
Go Griz!

Yes, DakkyFB and Cramsie sure revolutionized the offense in college FB in the FCS in the BSC in South Central Montana, for a few weeks, until it they faced a decent defense. Legacy.

Ha! Nice.

Hey you know how George Brett coined the term "Mendoza Line" for guys hitting .200? I think you've just done the same for the great sport of football, CDA. Any team hovering around .500 will be the at "Ash Line", as in "It would be a miracle if unc were to ever finish above the Ash Line".

Well done, sir. It's sure to be immediately added to the common man's lexicon!!!

I should not have read that...that boy thinks he's a lot better than he is. Marriotta made it to the nfl coming from oregon, so he should be able to do it as well...

No nfl team is going to take a chance on that arm. Inaccurate and throws a lob, can't fit it into tight enough spaces to play in the nfl. That's just mind blowing....

Wow! First, I agree. Second, it's an honor. I'm trying to leave a legacy about describing QBs who claim to leave legacies where they had mediocre results. The Ash Line will certainly help solidify my legacy. Thank you very kindly!
