Prukop?

All of this fuss for a running back? Alabama and Oreo can find running backs closer to home can't they? I would also assume they could find someone to over-throw a receiver and take a tremendous beating closer to home as well. What am I missing? Cause we're not talking about the shoota here.

You bite your tongue. We are talking about Dakky Football here. You know, the guy whose record as a starter is barely above .500? A true Bobcat. Cobra like. The Foreman of four-yard scrambles. The Headmaster of hit-taking.

Most important to Prukop was determining how Oregon's offense would change, if it all, after Scott Frost left his post as offensive coordinator to become the head coach at Central Florida on Nov. 29.

"My biggest thing is I developed a really good relationship in a really short amount of time with coach Helfrich and coach (Matt) Lubick," Prukop said. "I trust those guys and I trust he Oregon program. That's no longer a concern of mine. The one thing they assured me is the offense won't be changing. From that standpoint I trust coach Helfrich and coach Lubick to the point that new OC or not, or if Lubick gets promoted, I know the program will be in good hands. I'm about that."

If true, he chose wisely. He probably can't make the throws he needs to at 'Bama.

Oregon's system will highlight his running, which is his only strength. The system excels at getting wide open receivers, which will help his less than stellar passing abilities.

I've never seen an athlete at that level make such a big deal about himself. I am so glad that is over. The Cats are better off.
 
I just don't think he is that good. Great runner. Marginal passer, at best. VA had WAY better tools. Best of luck to him though. I was fine with him staying with the Cats.... :)

Kind of my thought. How can they expect to win big with one year QBs back to back.

Tells me Oregon has had some really bad QB recruiting over the last couple of years as well
