Prukop to be called up from the Big Sky Minor League

Good for him! At least we don't have to worry about him any more (like we did anyway).

And on to Griz news......

I was always worried about playing EWU with Adams at quarterback. Never felt that way with the guy at MSU.

There are quarterbacks who seem to tell their teams, "Get on my back, we're going to find a way." And there are others, who seem to say, "Get out of my way, I'm going to win us this game." Big difference.

He is a solid quarterback and an outstanding athlete. (Just imagine the Grizzlies if we'd had that kind of talent all year long.) That said, he is no Vernon Adams.

In fairness to the Russian lad, he never had anywhere near the weapons at his disposal as lil' shoota did while he was at EWU.

The article you are referencing isn't an article. It is a blog...done by some guy in his mom's basement. It is full of factual inaccuracies...Dakota walking on at Texas Tech - False, Dakota not playing QB in HS - False.

Who the hell is the coach he references anyway? cats don't have a coach by that name...

Don't come on here with this garbage and expect us to gobble it up. If you believe he is better than VA - fine. Many do not. Who cares?

The majority of Griz fans believe Dakota was an excellent QB. No need to defend the kid who does not need defending.

Kind of sensitive there guy. Just pointed out that some people, whether coaches or not I don't know, differ in their opinion. They wanted Dakota at Texas Tech as a Safety. Yes he started playing QB in high school but it was only a couple of years I believe.

Sensitive - Thanks for pointing out that some people believe Dakota is a good QB...the material you posted as some credible source was, in fact, not. Do better next time.

Then why in the living fuck did you preface it by saying "some coaches differ in opinion"?

Yesterday, Choke, I mean Choate...sorry, had to infuse some rivalry already...said he told the players that no incoming freshman will have any major impact on the team next year. That the team on the field next year will be already in this room.

So if he needs a QB, I would agree that he'd probably go after somebody with college experience.

Yeah I watched the whole interview and unless I'm missing something, I didn't hear it like that. But anyway, our redshirt freshman Jordan Hoy is very talented.

“I think the first thing I said when I walked in that room is, ‘We’re going to be fine,’” Choate recalled. “My No. 1 objective is to take care of them. No matter who we sign in the 2016 class, those guys aren’t going to have a huge impact on our success or failure on the football field next year. Those guys in the room last night, that’s the program. That’s what I wanted them to know.”

Exactly. He means our freshman we sign in THIS class will most likely redshirt. Hoy has been here one year already. He was one of the "guys in the room" Choate spoke of.

Thanks for repeating what I said.

Oregon, Bama, Michigan, TCU...the list goes on and on. Pretty crazy. Wonder if we will start seeing a lot more of this from kids. Do your time, get an education and then try and play one last year and get in the spotlight. Best of luck to him. I really think that he was held back by a mediocre coaching staff at MSU. This kid will shine at another school where he will be surrounded by more talent and way better coaches.

I thought you were trying to say that Choate will not be looking at Hoy as a legitimate replacement. I think he is. Sorry for the confusion.

I think you are right, Hoy could be the guy, He is a heck of an athlete.

Wonder if this impacts Oregon's QB needs for next season...
