If I remember right, the TD right after Loud's stupid penalty there was a lineman at the goal line walking into the endzone as the ball was thrown. He even looked around to make sure there was no flag. Completely agree they need to call that on them.

If we play UND in Wa Griz 5 times in the next five weeks Griz will by double digits each game. Its just the way it is. Wa Griz is a difficult place to win and almost impossible if the team dosent have clearly superior talent. UND has talent but its not clearly superior talent compared to Griz.

I agree the Griz were fortunate to win, but they won by completely outplaying UND in the 4th Q. Your QB is not accurate. The Griz left points on the field too, and the late taunting penalty was a BS call in my view, and gave you a TD. It works both ways. Making blunders is part of the game. If you make too many, you usually don't win. It's sort of like saying, if we don't make any mistakes, we'd beat you.
If we played UND 5 more times, they wouldn't have any players left. They had a number of injuries in the game, and may have lost guys for awhile.

except that in no football season ever will you play any team at home 5 times in a row. WaGriz is crazy tough, but that doesn't explain thinking UND got lucky. When you dominate a game for all but a few minutes ... its not generally considered luck.
I generally agree with what you said, except I wouldn't agree with the word "dominated". You clearly were beating us and had the upper hand. As for the playoff, I"m hoping the the Griz continue to improve and that we'll be considerably better than UND than the playoffs. We have large upside if we can keep improving and learning to play together more, like better coordination and fewer mistakes by the D, better coordinating and less mistakes by the OL. And, your qb didn't show much against the Griz and wasn't not an accurate thorwe
I'll disagree with on the QB, but that may be more due to expectations. He has been far better this season than anyone expected. Though it sounds like he fell off later in the game. Sophomore who is just finally getting some playing time, plus adds a running dimension. Again, I didn't see the end of the game, so I can't speak to his accuracy late.
I know you said you missed watching the end of the game, but UND brought consistent pressure on nearly every snap of our final 2 drives. Although, funnily enough, the big sack that forced us to need a 4th and 12 conversion came on a play they only rushed 4, I believe lol.
Your QB was horribly inaccurate for most of the game. He was 17-40 and had several nice long passes, or 42.5%, some because he accurate and some because the Griz D lost the receiver. He must of just flat-out missed 10 or more open receivers, including one long early and the rest shorter. I see that he's 57% for the season and only 1 pick. He's a good runner and make. some good decisions in that regard. As for the "dominated" comment .. you are correct. It just seemed the most appropriate terms considering Mafia's double digit winning standard at WaGrizz.
I'm also hoping UND will be a much more cohesive team by the playoffs, but its hard to know what to make of them yet. Dominate two crappy teams at home. Lose two close ones on the road ... which certainly could have been wins ... but weren't. Personally, I don't think we will know much about UND until half way through the conference schedule. Though without beating K State or MT, it will make our games against SDSU and NDSU that much more important ... fortunately those are home games.
