I DO NOT expect Montana to opt into the house settlement, for the 2025 season, which would cap the roster at 105 players. Schools have until March 1st to make a decision.

I have no idea what to expect on defense. All new faces. Could be bad or good. Nuce and Rostad are the only returners that I have some insight that he can be consistent contributors in this defense. Have high hopes for Loud too. Everyone else still lots to see.

Offense I think is a bit less worrisome for me but there will need to be some growth.

I have the same concern on the defensive side as last year. New faces that struggle to gel together.
 
The roster on the official website has been updated and Brady Lang is no longer listed. His brother is still listed though. I don't see Gabe Longin either.

What? We rarely use them? You know TEs do more on a play than run routes and catch passes, right?

I'd be willing to bet that on the majority of offensive plays we ran last year, there was at least one TE in the formation, and a huge number of our plays used two. Hell, sometimes we had 3 on the field at once!

NDSU had 32 completed passes to TEs in 16 games for 5 TDs, whereas we had 24 in 14 games for 4 TDs. Not exactly a huge difference.
