Oh, you were being serious?!

Honestly had no idea. Well geeze. As someone who always insists on people to give facts for their outrageous claims, I’d be fascinated to hear yours! How are you able to determine that casual fans have a higher opinion of Hauck than they do Choate?

I don’t have an opinion either way but I assume there must be data somewhere to back this claim. From the outside looking in, it appears to be something that would be very difficult to prove.

Again my apologies for the  . I thought you were being funny....

I've done my own antidotal "study". Most people I talk to, including some Bozeman Cat fans, like or are fine with Hauck. They're no so sure about Choate. That's all. How about your assertion that everyone, or every Cat fans, doesn't like Hauck? What's your evidence to back up your assertion?

What?

I never asserted that. If you re-read you'll notice that I said I don't have an opinion either way in regards to how the casual fan views these two men. I'm on record not only saying that I don't mind Hauck, but that I think he and Choate are actually VERY similar from my interactions with them both.

I just found it a very funny claim that is impossible to prove either way. Hence the  .

I really didn't think you were being serious. Apparently you were. In which case the discussion isn't worth my time as I don't have an opinion, and if I did one way or the other it would be impossible to prove.

I'll stick with my viewpoint that some people love Choate, some people hate Choate. Some people love Hauck, some people hate Hauck. :thumb:

Okay. Got it. Here’s some advice. Next time something like this comes up. Don’t respond the way you did.

You really need a life!

I have a great life. What do I need?

I’ve noticed that Choach is doing a lot more in the MILF community than Hauck. Does Hauck even have a “date a coach” contest?

This is a lost opportunity, no doubt. The MILF demo is critical to the success of any athletic program. Not providing them an opportunity for...uhhh...release seems shortsighted.

Agreed. Choach is a natural at speaking to that demo. After all, he learned from the master, Big Ern, himself.

When was the last time a Cat coach was 4-0 against the Griz?

Jim Sweeney was 5-0. Sonny Holland was 6-1 but lost his first.

Thanks. Didn't know that.

I once new Jim and the Sweeney family well. Lived a block from them in Bozeman. Jim Sweeney Jr. was my high school qb and friend. He went to Alabama on scholarship as a linebacker. Talked to him this summer with some other Bozeman high friends, one of whom played at Wash St., after decades of no contact. Jim lives and is retired in the Seattle area. I knew Sonny too. His wife was my teacher in about 6th grade. She was super nice. My mom worked for Sonny in MSU alumni affairs as the years went on.
