This thread is yesterday's news. We have already discussed this topic. Kramer was fired unfairly, and the state paid big bucks to settle because of it. If Kramer was fired due to his players off-field activities, then Hauck should have been fired too.

Kramer will be our new head coach, if he wants the job, and I think he does.

except for the small fact that the state must approve the contract, which as you stated paid him a settlement, which will make it near impossible for him to be the next head coach.

I really don't think MUS or Engstrom have to stomach for a coach with any bad press. John Blanchette once commented on the importance of having no bad stories on the first couple pages of Google when your name comes up.
That test pretty much sinks Mike Kramer and Ty Gregorak. Griz fans might disagree because of wins and losses or homerism, but when the rest of the world begins casting about for info on Montana's new coach, at the time of his hire and at least for every preview of every game in that coach's first year, that Google search better not turn up a single "suspected", "charged", "accused" or "alleged" for a few pages.

Actually he was fired fairly. The law suit was because they talked about WHY he was fired instead of keeping their mouths shut as was done in the case of JOD and RP

I agree. Enough is enough. MD was hired to clear up any and all the negative stuff, even if a lot was not true. There is a reason Kramer is at Idaho State....they hit bottom. Anything looks good from there.

You can throw out his first 3 years at ISU. With the sht he inherited no one would have won. He is the reason Ash has a winning team at MSU. He got them on the right track when the facilites and fan base were still not there. Cliff Hysell did not do so well under the same circumstances. He also got EWU on to their winning ways too. Then Wulff, and Baldwin built on that success.

I can't see into the future about whether Kramer will accept the job, and whether the terms of his current contract buy-out can be negotiated. But I can tell you that he is in the mix, and wants to be our coach. Let's just say that there is some sh*t happening regarding this that I am not able to discuss. Well like I said, I don't know and I don't care if you used to post under another name or not. You just seem very certain that Kramer will be the next head coach of the Grizzlies and when that doesn't happen I'm simply hoping you man up and admit you were wrong without coming up with excuses as to why it didn't happen.
