I gave you the same as I gave the Cats...two losses. I don't like to predict head-to-head games...it seams redundant and a silly waste of effort. However, I think I this prediction is a safe bet. The two (or very likely three) teams that are crowned as the Big Sky Champs will both (or all) have two losses. No outright champion this year, and no undefeated teams.

I have to agree.

6-5 and I could easily see NAU, Liberty and UND as losses.

USD - L
App - L
Liberty - W
NAU - W
EWU - L
UNC - W
SUU - L
UND - W
IDS - W
WSU - W
MSU - L

If JJ were QB, I'd have you guys at 8-3 with losses to App, EWU and MSU. So I say JJ is worth 2 wins to you all, and he was much more than that for you last year with a defense who graduated 9 starters and much more experienced OL and WR.
Bump

This was pretty darn close.... So far

I'm not optomistic, I think 5-6 is likely. We may lose to south dakota, app state, eastern washington, weber state, north dakota and the bobcats. Tough year and with all that's happened even the griz aren't bullet proof.
This thread is a fun read. I might have the prediction right on the money. We will revisit this thread in a couple weeks.

I had us at 7-4.

I still have the faith and drink the maroon water and believe that we can finish with a 6-5 at seasons end.

Our finale at home versus the cats will be our 'playoff, bowl' game and a win will be great for seniors, fans and sets us up a lot more positive for a lot of talent returning in 2013.

With three good RBs and a good blocking/recieving TE, as well as a solid O-Line, I see Montana playing as well as ever. The QB situation will take care of itself, as it always has. I see people getting apprehensive because we have no clear-cut QB to date, but as I stated the situation handles itself, i.e, (JJ, Ah-Yat, Edwards, etc.). McKinney or SSH both have the potential to become the next great Grizzly QB in a long line of them. The upside of this is the team, as well as we fans, will benefit from these two freshman providing continuity at this position for the next four years. I'm excited about this and putting the whole JJ situation behind us. Let's to move forward. As for Defense, with only two returning starters, some fans are deeply concerned. On paper it does not look good. But the game isn't played on paper. I'm optomistic and excited to see which players step up and perform well for this unit. Kanongata, Tripp, and Hermanson will provide great leadership. It's going to be interesting to see how special teams will play out, but I trust they are developing just fine. Coaching will be solid. It's a new day for Griz Nation. I see a fun and exciting season ahead. Enjoy the ride. Go Griz!!!

No, no, NO. The sky is falling. We're screwed. Done. Finished. Kaput. Just ask the 'scat fans....we'll be lucky to win 4 games this year.

Get with the program, C&G.

Hmmmmm.....this might be the most accurate prediction.

Just keep praying. We won't lose at home.

You did last time we came to town... and that was when you had a much more stable\solid team. A whole bunch of unknowns, scary changes heading into this season for you.

And this little gem ended up being pretty dead on as well. The biggest question mark for you guy heading into the season was the new coaching regime... and we know how that's looking so far.
