Sure. But Pflu's offense and Don Read's were nothing alike
Hav, you bring up an interesting point. While i miss high octane, I don't necessarily want that back. I just see how hard these kid's work and to be honest they are more talented then some of the coaches on the staff, IMO

It's not all coaching and it's not all the players. It's both!

I'm just damn glad guys like Coyle, Tripp, JJ and Kistler are willing to hold themselves a lot more accountable. If the Griz players listened and believed everything they read on Egriz, about their coaches, about the refs, about Engstrom, ect...I'd be scared they would pull a Grambling and not get on the plane to Sactown on Friday. The way some of you have been posting since last night, it sincerely sounds like you think the players should revolt.

Fortunately, the players know the truth a hell of a lot more than WE (myself Included) do.

I will long be the consummate that said coaches can do no wrong until I see a bobby ball type a gap failure time and again with hardly any time left. Followed up by I thought it was 4th and 8th
Talk about letting air out of your own balloon.

This. Like I said in another post the coaching is not perfect or always correct. But the overall talent on this team is not as high as many fans think. We have some super stars mixed with good to average players. It is both. Yesterday we had score taken off the board due to a players action. The play had been called by the coaches and performed by the players to be taken off by penalty. That play and score could have changed the flow of the game also. Defensive players not tackling in space is a concern and has been addressed and worked on in practice. Focus by the players seems to come and go. Players seem to be mechanical and thinking to much. Over coaching.

Gotta disagree Tri, I think the Griz have at least one supreme talent at every position on the Football field EXCEPT Safety.

DE - Wags, DT - Alex, All 3 linebackers, and if Addison Owen was a starter he'd be right there too. CB - Chief. OL - Kistler and Oiland for sure. Poehls was but has been very sloppy this season. QB - JJ, WR - Ellis Henderson and Jamal Jones. RB - Canada and Van, TE - Clay Pierson and Jordan Harper. Every single one of those guys will be an all-conference performer, and some will be seocnd and third-timers. Coyle, Tripp and Kistler are locks to earn All-American honors. Wags was an AA last year. I'd call that supreme talent, even if they DON'T ALWAYS EXECUTE.
