Post Game: Too many mistakes

I saw the replay on the Roughing the Passer call and it was a clear foul. He went, with both hands, for the QB's head and everyone knows that is a big "no-no" these days.

Good post but Poly got hosed on many calls too....

Roughing the punter comers to mind. Horrible call

Way more poor spots that went against Poly. The roughing the passer call in the 4th quarter that extended a Griz drive was questionable. And it nearly killed Poly's hopes.... Really, the poor officiating cut both ways.

It was running into the punter, which it was. Lider sold it, which is what they teach them to do. The roughing the passer call was a blatant shot @ Brady's head. That's a penalty as well in today's game.

Jeez, were you even watching the game? The spots were consistently going against the Griz. Obviously, you weren't at the game to see what was going. The roughing passer call was clearly correct. Running into the punter was the right call. You just can't run into the punter. That's the rule.

Brint, I thought the PI call that Jones got was correct. Defender hit Jones fairly hard as he jumped for ball, and wasn't looking for ball or trying to make play on it. I was surprised more flags weren't thrown on the ball.

Only could see it on replay - with my seats and people quickly standing I didn't see the live play too well. Looked kind of shaky on the screen, sounds good.

Also a missed call, IMO, was on Poly's last drive, an errant Brown throw - looked like Whitted had a chance for a pick but the WR pretty much grabbed Whitted by the chest and drove him back. Whitted got 1 hand on it. Lots of people around me yelling for a flag. Borderline and probably nothing a ref would call on a final drive... but still... iffy.

On last CP drive, on completion on Griz sideline, Harris was complaining that the receiver had pushed him off as the receiver stopped and came back to the ball. I didn't see that part of the play.

I thought the refs were weak generally (both teams) and acted like they didn't know what they were doing. Huge contrast to the great refs and reffing the prior week. That crew was terrific.

That was one hell of a game. I'm not sure how you lost? The game the week before was a hell of a game too. I'm not sure how you won? The one thing I do know is, the griz look good this year. Any Cat fan that comes over here to gloat about this loss is an asshole. See ya 11/21.

Stop whining about the officiating going against the Griz. You whine about the officials every game, saying that calls consistently go against the Griz. I know a lot for former college football players, and you are the only one who whines all of the time about the officials.

I can't comment on the coaching for most of the game because my streaming feed, did not stream. Bad product from Sidewind sp. but I digress.

I would say Stitts decisions in the last 2 minutes cost the griz the game. On 4th and 1 he called TO??????? If he goes and makes it game over. If he goes and doesn't make it, the clock is still running and CP is behind the clock big time. A momentum shift to CP on the change and they score the FG and win. I did not get that, and because of that alone, I would grade him out at a C for the game.

WOW seriously!! You fricking idiot, the clock stops on a turnover!!

Poking fun at you guys will always be a fun past time

It's definitely more apparent now than ever that the Cat fan priorities are:

1. Griz lose
2. Griz miss the playoffs
3. Lady Griz BB gets beat in the first round of the NCAA tournament
4. UM enrollment drops
5. A Griz player gets suspended
6. Cats win

POY candidate.

It wasn't roughing the punter; it was running into the punter. And it was called perfectly. There was contact on the leg of a defenseless punter. It HAD to be called. Even the guy who committed the penalty knew it as soon as he made contact. That was actually one of the few calls that crew got correct.

Now that's pretty funny. I say this (see below), 2 posts above your post, and you interpret that as whining and whining about officials "every game". Sorry to inform you, but saying the officials were great in one game is not whining about officials every game, nor is saying that officials were "weak generally (both teams)" is not whining either. You really are stupid, and can't read.
