Post Game: Return to (non)Dominance

How quickly we forget. A year ago the griz killed the cats. The cats changed qb's to their younger more mobile option and he led them to the championship game. We should get in the playoffs and anything can happen after that.

Anything COULD happen if the staff is willing to make changes like the Cats did last year. This staff REFUSES to make changes. They will stick with the same tired bullish-t they do because that is all they know. Fire the entire staff. Geezus, there are people out there that can take us to notoriety again. Hauck is NOT the answer.

I kinda hope we don't get in, I'm afraid if we do we will play some crappy team the first round and win. Then that will give Hauck the false reasoning to not make any real changes. I think for the long term Griz missing the playoffs is better for the program possibly. If bobby was serious about developing Britt he would have played him more in the ear season then he may have being ready to play vs sac st or Weber. This maybe the most disappointing season ever I just want it to end asap and start over.

If Bobby weren't actually serious about developing Britt, Kris Brown would've been your QB2 today. He made that change, so why are we saying he wouldn't be willing to make other changes?

Great post. Nuanez on his ESPN radio show couple weeks ago talked about the Griz problems this year. Talked about Haucks arrogance and stubbornness to stick to “the plan”, not ride his skill players but continue his platoon substitutions and when the plan isn’t working he is too stubborn to adjust. Still living in the past with his be the big bad tougher mofo’s and you will win. But times have changed, conference is better and he is not respecting the opponent. It was a good listen and in my opinion nailed it.

I guess what really bothers me is that the coaching staff had all last spring and this fall to determine who would be the backup QB.
In a rather short time, after LJ was injured, it was obvious to All of Griz nation that Britt should have been QB2.
Both the Sac State and Weber games were winnable. Those losses are on Rosy and Coach Hauck. WTF were they looking at last fall and this spring?
I am praying the Griz get into the playoffs and that if LJ is not 100%, we turn the reigns over to Britt.
Go Griz!

I have seen the initials RTD and didn’t realize it really meant Retire The Dips#!ts. Staff needs an overhaul, starting at the top.

That's a really beautiful story. Too bad the chances of that are almost zero. Teams with sub par offensive lines don't make it to the Natty.
Nor teams that allow 439 yards rushing and 55 points.

Go Griz!

Well, we all saw what happened to Calhoun. Then after he left, Bobby dumped Eastwood for Knight.

Never, ever underestimate the coach's stubbornness.

Have you watched Britt in practice? Have you seen him run all of the Griz offense?

Yeah, I'm with you on putting in Britt when it was clear Brown wasn't the answer, but the change was eventually made. If these same problems creep up in the playoffs, especially in the first game (if we make it), then I could absolutely see Bobby making some adjustments.

Although, if I were a betting man, if Rosey were to be let go, I would put a lot of money on Rob Phenicie being rehired as the OC. Would people be okay with that?

But to me, I don't care who's calling the plays if we don't start changing our stubborn philosophies on both sides of the ball. Sometimes you just have to let your best players play and not be so beholden to your system. It's wild to me that the coach who leaned on Chase Reynolds and Marc Mariani seems so allergic to feeding his best players the ball.

Please God no

Dukes in Scottsdale had more people inside and trying to get in (many couldn't get tables) than the Cats had at Game Day. Despite the ass-kicking, the game and festivities were fun. There were even some fun Bobcats (surprised me, ha). Name-dropping alert. My wife and I sat with Swink, McCord and Tru.

Good post BW. I agree. And if we do get a playoff, I sure hope not a trip to Bozeman if win the first, because it is obvious they will kick our ass again and I can't handle the Cat nation crap after another blowout.

Almost went there to watch but I knew the crowd would be huge. Watched it home in Mesa. By the way, the talent and crew from GameDay said it was the best show ever. They were extremely happy.

More than fair assessment. But Hauck lives in a world of ignorance and arrogance, so unless he's forced to, nothing will change. So welcome to some variation of this year, next year and the year after that and the year after that.

Practice! Practice! Are you fu—ing serious?. Who gives a sh-t about that? He is a gamer and has proven it in GAMES. You are a loser man. For someone who has played the game, you are a dumb sumbitch.
