Post Game: Redemption

Right on MtGriz. I was just saying it will be very difficult to play at this level all season with no let downs - they are playing hungry!

They are out of Hibernation this year. :thumb:

I believe it was their left tackle - maybe he's a top 10 on team no nick? Ha.
It was 9 for 10 on third down. Only miss was last in the last series.

Yeah 9/10 on 3rd down is crazy good. And i think the Griz scored two TDs... Maybe 3 on 3rd down conversions as well.

If I remember correctly, the Griz didn't even face a third down until we had already scored four touchdowns.

Agree with everything except the notion that Lider purposely didn't put his kickoffs into the end zone in order to challenge Hardin. The guy has trouble with PATs for christ's sakes, is it so hard to believe the kid just isn't doing what it takes to get the job done on kickoffs as well?

So far, I know it's extremely early but those of us pre-season, predicting a national championship run this year and/or next year are looking cerebral. And the pollsters are looking like they need a new career. :thumb:

Great job Head Coach, OCs & DC, and the other position coaches. GREAT JOB Players!

Great game, one more mark on the list checked off.

Injuries though.... we have a cupcake game next week but after that it is ALL GRIND. Hope the guys are ready and conditioned for it.

This!! I am ecstatic after two games and I really only have one worry at this point - injuries. Bozo has been decimated by injuries and it can happen to any team. The Griz looked extremely well conditioned and it is clear the players have been in the weight room preparing. I will say my prayers. This team appears to be special.

It would seem that Kose's injury appeared to be the worst. Oiland re injuring his hammy will put him out for a while but should return. Poehls and Dennards I don't think we're bad.

So far I think the game plans have been magnificent. I think other team's defensive coordinators will be shaking their heads wondering how to plan for a team that comes at you in so many ways. They threw in just enough odd stuff like the 2 pt conversion that will make them spend time planning for. Certainly not plain vanilla stuff, lots of little twists.

It also looks like JJ is not having to put his body at risk as much as he had to 2 years ago.

Kudos to the receivers. They made some difficult catches in coverage and I don't recall any dropped passes.

Did you tune in late? JJ's very first pass, a 50-yarder, was placed right in the hands of Taylor Wolcott, who was wide open behind the defense, and he decided to drop it.

I had forgotten or blanked it out. Thanks
