Post game presser?

No, he shouldn’t and asking a question isn’t badgering. His response was over the top. If anything it makes Frank look like a victimized reporter. Bad look for Hauck.
Don't you think thats exactly why Frank presents his question(s) the way he does? He's obviously trying to get a response from Bobby... "Coach mean bad man, scarry cause he's a MANS man" snow flake BS or something. I'm honestly not smart enough to understand history between the two.

However, I like my coaches the same way I like my poilticians, one stupid question away from losing their sh!+ 🤣

The coach of the football team is absolutely the face of the Grizzlies and the University. Ask people who the President is and then ask who the football coach is. More often than not, they will know the football coach, not the President. (Engstrom was so terrible that he might be the exception). Same with basketball. Coaches are the face of the university and are compensated appropriately for their role. Remember Bobby Petrino at Arkansas in 2012? I don’t remember the President of the universities name. I remember Bobby Petrino though. Nick Saban, yep. President - no. Pete Carroll, yep. President, no. I could go on, but why? The coaches are the face of the universities.
I and a lot of fans don’t care that BH is an ass if the team is winning but if they start losing it can be held against him.

Fair point. But also, hes not wrong. Frank has asked about it several times. Beyond that, they rotated other linemen yesterday as well! Isn't it odd frank only asked about the center? Bobby literally rolls at *almost* every other position. If he keeps badgering bobby about *1* single position, he should expect that type of response.
It was a fair question. Not sure how anyone can watch that video and call it a badgering question. lol.

It’s not a common practice for teams to rotate their centers in and out of the game.

It was a dickish response from Bobby. He’s been dickish in pressers for years. That’s who he is.

Asking the same question over and over is badgering. Does it really matter why and how players are subbed? Isn’t one question good enough? It’s not like this was the first time the Griz played 2 centers these 2.
Reporters asks the same questions to coaches all the time. It isn’t a reporter problem. It’s a coach responding appropriately problem. There is a time and a place to handle issues. On tv or streaming live isn’t one of them. Take the high road. Be respectful, respond appropriately and move on. He could even say, “Frank, thanks for the question. I think you have asked this one before and I don’t know that I can elaborate any further on the rotation of our centers.” Next question please.”

Fair enough. I don’t know the answer. I personally prefer coaches who are measured and cerebral. Just one fans opinion though.

What you don’t know is Frank has asked him about it multiple times now and has become weirdly fixated on it….so no it wasn’t fair. It was dumb. I’d say really dumb.

your own post noted that it was "rare", which obviously makes it unique. i think it is a good question; hauck could easily just answer that it's situational, and doesn't want to tell which situations publicly, which might aid future opponents. no reason to be a dick.
No, my source said it was not unique. “"While rare, rotating centers is not unique in college football, and it does happen.” why does Frank keep asking the question? Why ask that question after such a great game? It was a stupid thing to ask then. The head of the missoulian and head of the UM journalism dept should tell Frank to stop asking the question.

So Frank should just keep asking the question that he has apparently asked before? And ask it right after big wins. It was an incredibly stupid question at that time. USC rotated centers this season, until one got hurt. Do Cat reporters ask after big games why the preseason offensive MVP is down so far on the conf rushing list. 28th with 42 yards a game. Now that’s a good question.

That’s what Bobby did say. He was using coach speak. Bobby could have said: That’s your same dumb question. Get out of here. If you ask it again, I will ask an egriz poster to kick your ass on egriz.”
