Post Game: Meltdown on the road

Liberty outplayed and out coached the Griz. Griz had bright spots, but same old weaknesses were apparent. ...oline, no RB, defense on field too long with no bench. Chalich did ok considering his lack of 1st team practice, but Simis might be needed to give a running threat

OK, tibula/fibula, whatever! Two long passes by the defense allowed, so what! Give the offense the ball quicker so they can do what? I hope Stitt has a plan for the Big Sky games. 7-4 is not acceptable! 3-8 is...well?

Also espn3 sucked tonight. I don't think I was the only one having problems. Missed most of first quarter and sound came in and out.

ESPN3 was very good for me. Worked very well. I enjoyed the announcers southern accents.

So Counts fumbles one time, and they don't run him anymore tonight? I think Counts is Dan Moore Jr, and we need to focus on him being our #1 back. Nguyen is good, but Counts is the better back and needs more touches. Dude is flat out a stud, a wrecking ball, and he still makes some cuts that get him that extra yard or two that Nguyen doesn't get.

I'm baffled that the Griz have had chances to win the last two games with as many mistakes they've made leading up to the end of the games. Dropped passes, no OL protection (why no screen pass?), and special teams continue to hamper us every week. I know people are going to call for Stitt's head, but there have been so many mistakes by players that need to be cleaned up. Counts scores the TD, momentum shifts, and I think the Griz roll. That was the play of the game. Feel horrible for Gus, hope he heals good. I'm also hoping Simis gets a chance, cuz I can see why Chalic didn't start at Idaho.

f*** all of that! We lost a game we should've won. Liberty acted like the team that should be there, we acted like a team that has never been there before.

Not blaming the refs anymore?....
Didn't blame the refs pussy, but they definately helped liberty.

How?

And yes, you did blame the refs...a statement about they already made their minds up before the game.

I still can't figure out why Nguyen starts. He's slow and gets arm tackled constantly. He's shifty, but that doesn't matter if he can't get into space. If he's the best back they have, that's a serious problem

It seems that Nguyen, and to a lesser extent Counts, are the only backs he wants on the field.

I think he is good at pass protection, and he has averaged 5 yards per carry.

Actually Chalich DID start at Idaho
Looks like he's going to be starting the rest of the season at Montana. Let's just hope he has an o line that can rise to the occasion

If you take away one run each of the first two games, he averaged 3.6 and 2.2 respectively. Tonight was a whopping 1.1. Pass protection is debatable

Where is the Stitt offense? It was present during the NDSU game and absent since! Brint you can cover the game and identify the obvious but, no offense is the problem! Nyguyen needs to be on the bench! Where were Jannsen and Horner? Every week this has to be identified. Over throws again. A broken tibulia, only a matter of time. No protection from O-Line! Joey Counts looking like his first game! The defense did outstanding! Piss poor offense is still the the problem!

The tibulia is known as the most brittle bone in the lagge.
