Post Game: Baffling loss

I am not accounting for all the rushes for Chalich, but he runs in the same situations that Gus chucks the ball into the stands.

Not true. Not even close. After the first 2 games, BG averaged running 3 times per game (which includes sacks). BG wouldn't have chucked 21 more balls into the stands today. Those posters noting that Chalich left the pocket too soon and too many times, and left passing opportunities on the table, are absolutely correct. He did that several times last week too.

You should probably read my post again. I never said anything remotely to what you are suggesting.

At least when Gus chucks the ball into the stands, we don't lose yardage....

And not every time that Chalich took off running did he lose yardage. And I was not doing anything other than noting that both QB's are different and react to the same situation differently. One will run and one will throw.

I may be in the minority but I don't like a qb that has 24 rushes in a game. To many times, I just saw him tuck it and run and not really look for his receivers. I don't profess to be a student of the game, but I would prefer my qb stay in the morning, check off the receivers, and the run when needed. His rushes would be even more effective if he only runs 8-10 times a game.

Don't say that here. Everyone on Egriz thinks that if a qb runs the ball it's obviously the correct choice.

Baffling, mr. Real estate? Your syrupy smooze requires me to get some moist towelettes to wipe your rose colored 6 bedroom 3 bath mentality of the griz program away.

Stitt is out of his league. Dennehy, Glenn, Hauck and Pflugerville took over and made something out of what they inherited.

Stitt is out of his league. And so are you. Now go sell some real estate or something productive. You suck at this.
WTF are you talking about, he pretty much hit it on the head except for not mentioning how many missed tackles there were. He didn't sugar coat the coaching mistakes. I suggest you leave the analysis to the big boys, you are the one out of your league

over exaggerate much?

It's called hyperbole. It's used often in jest or to make a point.

In my case it was both.

Yes, I agree with you. I agree having the option to be able to run is a bonus. Today, Chalich had extreme happy feet.

Today? He ran it 24/59 times last week and 14/41 times last week. That's only a difference of about 5% of the time. He's a happy feet QB. But Egriz thought that was what was best so...

You act like I'm mad... I'm not.

I am not even sure what you supposedly "told us" that you are so happy about.

Great write up BW. You hit everything right on the head. We just couldn't get it done in the red zone. I hope by some MERICLE, that we get into the playoffs.
GO GRIZ!
No chance of the playoffs this year.... Nor does this team/coaching staff deserve to sniff the playoffs after this game. Here's to beating the scats and hopefully improving a ton next year. GO GRIZ!!!!

Why would you want to get into the playoffs? Maybe a glutton for punishment. We are not a playoff team by any stretch of the imagination. I'm off to 2017, WTF do we do next? Do we have a "Q" waiting in the wings worth sh!t?... :egriz:

I think it's because BG was deemed 100% healthy but Stitt didn't start or play him.....

I thought I heard the post game interview they said he wasn't 100% and that Chalich took all the snaps this week. I could have misheard but I thought he specifically said he wasn't quite 100%

I am going from Hav's post under the Chalich thread. Hav stated that Stitt knew BG was 100% ready but chose not to utilize him. Not really sure....

Maybe BG questioned Stitt about making some changes to offense and it pissed Stitt off??

If Gus was healthy and Stitt did not play home at all?

Stitt experiment should be over.
