Heck, if you want to call out coaches, how did the Rosenbach offense do against the Thompson defense...not much better than the Baer defense against the Taylor offense. How about we start throwing some position coaches under the bus too.

Well, we all thought Thompson should be our DC anyways....

But you are right, this is all Baer's fault. Not sure how BH can even let him on the plane home.

Good write up BW.
We weren't as good as we hoped and we're not as bad as we looked tonight. I can't imagine that we will see our receiving corps drop as many wide open passes as they did tonight. Their fumbles were recovered by them twice. We deserved to lose but this team is not dead. No DOLA. No RTD. But not impossible for me to see us making the playoffs, especially if we kick ass in our final regular season game.

It will be very interesting to see how this team responds.

I think he stayed home with Sulser...

What’s inaccurate about it? Please, do tell...

Other than the fact that the coach was the OC at Utah the last 2 years and has other college coaching in his past.

Not inaccurate at all. They got beat by a 1st year (as in 1st year as a HC) former HS head coach (as in, was recently a head coach at a local HS, and is his ONLY head coaching experience). Baer got outschemed and literally had NO answer. I’m betting Taylor was saying “I wish games were five quarters long so we could kick their asses some more”....

I am not a Baer fan, but you can be a total tool sometimes.
Sometimes?

Then I guess it wasn't his fault.

DOLA and RTD are a bumpy road. That’s probably the best D-Line we’ll face this year. Will be interesting to see how this team responds against EWU, especially if Sneed can’t go.

I think I figured it out: Baer is your dad! That must be why you’re so knee-jerk defensive of him, despite his performance.

Sorry man, I’ll lay off.

N not sure how good Weber is but I agree about their d-line. Still they didn't drop the balls.
Can't imagine Sneed goes against EWooo. I'm thinking we'll be glad Humphrey got as much playing time as he did tonight. In a game that was lost long before he came in.

Time to put the whiskey down and hit the hay, folks. This won't be any better tomorrow, but we'll live with it. Only thing that concerns me is Sneed's health. If it's as bad as I fear, we won't see him again. Time for Humphrey to show us what he's got. While he is obviously not Sneed, I think he might surprise some folks.

The loss is one thing, but teams lose all the time. Yes it looked bad, but one game doesn't make at season, at least not at UM. The injuries are really what suck. Hope all come back healthy, but I'm not holding my breath. Looks bad for 11. While I'm not giving up on this season, what we have now is a preview for next year in a way.

Heads up, eyes on EWU. Go Griz!

Sneed May miss the next game, but I don’t think it’s season ending. I spent most of the 2nd half watching him, and he was limping around on the sidelines under his own power. He had crutches but he wasn’t using them. He had an ice pack on his right ankle, and spent some time on the trainers table as well. If he did something serious, I don’t think he would’ve been trying to walk it off on the sidelines like he did. My guess is he will be back, but it may not be a bad idea to save him and rest him for the Weber game. Humphrey can get the job done in the meantime.

I’m curious to see how Colter spins this! Sac is flat out DOMINANT and will win out! Someone said, “no one saw” Sac coming, not true. Everyone has seen them coming but can’t stop them. Barring injury, no one will!

It’s time to focus on the remaining games. Try to win em boys so Cat griz is meaningful!

So now maybe EWU won’t eat so much crow vs SAC ST, LOL! There are well coached and totally out coached BOBBY ball. Also, I want too here more about that amazing Griz D. With all your players are going down, EWU is getting theres back next week for this EWU/Griz matchup. I hope Dalton Sneed is OK and makes a quick recovery to next week as he is probably the BSC MVP at this point. I can’t talk any more smack than than that cause EWU is 3-4 on the year, but I think they get the Griz again next week. P.S, no one has seen SAC ST coming this year, they are for real.
Please, please take a remedial writing class. Maybe 4th grade English as well....

Ok, tough response from you, LOL! A couple amateur typos from myself, my bad! Just thought you my reply to the ass kicking you’ll get next week from EASTERN!

How does a team that went 3-8 last year get good so fast with a 1st year former HS coach yet we’re in “year two of a planned rebuild”...

They had huge injuries last year, including at o-line. Have started the same o-line every game this year. Maybe the head coach and Thompson are terrific too.

I was being sarcastic. AZ just has a hard on for the guy.

I know. I wasn't meaning to ask you. Was asking generally. Would love to see what our experts think Baer did wrong or should have done better. I don't know. Legitimate question.

Good writeup Brint, I agree on pretty much everything.

Our line play on both sides of the ball needs work, we knew the OL would have some growing pains this year but they have actually outperformed where I thought we would be until they hit the buzzsaw tonight. Going to be a long week for them, and now we may be looking at some Humphrey time as well which won't make it easier. Hope he's been working on his quick release.

The DL hasn't been able to consistently get pressure without sending the horde, which has led to some ugly results (the 2 middle screen TD's in an earlier game for example). The game tonight shows the dilemma that Baer and Co. have...send extra guys and leave people on islands who have been getting beat, or rush 4 and let a good QB pick you apart? They had guys open by 10+ yards numerous times tonight, and not just ahead of the field on bombs. I don't know what the answer is but we have to get some kind of pressure or every good QB will put up big numbers.

Hopefully the injury to Sneed isn't too serious and he doesn't miss a lot of time, we need him back no later than the Weber game to get back in rhythm before the playoffs, assuming we are in position for a berth at that point. I believe Cam is a good QB and will be fine given a week of 1st team work, the next 3 opponents are winnable games and he should be able to do some work against them. Defense will have to do their part also, I think there's been a lot of sentiment from us that we can afford some defensive lapses because we'll just outscore everybody in the second half and win...that may be off the table to an extent now and we can't have anymore double-digit deficits in the first quarter.

We're still ok, I think SS proved they're the class of the conference (I wouldn't doubt they roll Weber too) but we're still in this thing and can play with anybody. Maybe this game and Sneed's injury will refocus the team, I'm always curious how the "game after" shakes out after these kind of deals.

Forcing sac st to punt right before half, then them picking us off and getting that long bomb TD was a back breaker.

Still need some work on the LOS. One game doesnt define the season, time to regroup and fix the correctable mistakes. Really hoping Sneed and Sulser are ok.

I'm still not sold on the 3-3-5. We just dont have the horses on the D-line to run a 4 front
