Opinion of the Griz performance aside (which I frankly agree with your last comments), how sad does a 60+ year old man have to be to develop this kind of obsession with e-griz?

Face the facts, dude. The Griz could EASILY be 5-5 right now. The wins versus Poly and South Dakota were gifts. This team is not even close to Griz teams we have had in the past 20 years. They are undisciplined, and poorly-coached. The secondary is the worst in the Big Sky. The O-line is not much better. We need to get rid of Delaney , and both coordinators next season and start over. If not, the weekly product you see on the field is what you will get!

So, all of those zero-yardage runs were just a mirage? 2.1 yards per carry? Your spin is about as valid as Obama's. I think Jay Carney should yield to you as press sec. So 19.8 yards per completion is a bad thing? I'd go with what was working, and that was passing the ball. Anyone actually watching that game saw it too. The passing game was working, the running game wasn't.

Them, Cal Poly, and possibly Sac and USD. Yep, our best wins so far. The Griz play who is scheduled. They couldn't predict that App would fall apart this year, or that UND would crash back down to earth after a good prior season.

I don't get why some fans have such a hard time with this. What else is the team to do? You play who is booked, and going into the season (and years ago when these games were booked) this looked like an incredibly difficult schedule.

Check stats before spouting off on things that aren't true.

Look I think they need improvement here too, it's a great group of talent that's yet to put a complete game together, but tearing these guys to shreds is just dumb, and again ignores the final product.

LOL. You got that right. Brint is such a homer. He refuses to admit anything negative about the Griz. I like how he tried to justify the 3 interceptions, and the play of the offensive line. The Grizzlies had 53 yards rushing, a 2.1 yards/carry average, and Johnson spent much of the day picking himself up off the turf. Trying to say that South Dakota was a tough opponent is a joke. The facts are that the Griz have not defeated a real playoff type team this season, and have struggled even against average opponents. The Griz offensive coordinator needs to teach Johnson how to to read the blitz and hit the hot receiver. He seems to be clueless in this area.

Just a realty check post to counteract the sugar coating.

I'm not sure its Brint who needs a reality check. SD is a quality team, that is reality. The Griz beat them even though Jordy had a bad game. If he had a good game, we would have won by at least 2 td's, maybe 3.

Keep living in denial. We were schooled by South Dakota except for those two lucky plays.

I guess you're right. Every good Griz play is lucky. We should have shamrocks on our helmets instead of griz paws since we've been the luckiest team in the FCS for the last 30 years. Damn it feels good to be lucky.
