Holy cow, the all new, humbled, more mellow, matured Bobby Hauck can still be a dick to the press can't he.

Ask a dick question you get the answer, good for Bobby. :thumb:

It wasn't just the stupid question, he was curt and peckish the entire presser. A big part of the job is being able to communicate in a respectful manner to the press wether you like the questions or not.

His job is to win. Period.

His job is also not to let stupid questions about last year's mistakes cause/raise any thoughts of doubt in this year's player's minds. Especially after a great win. It was a dick question, the reporters need practice and training for a new season as well. Looks like Bobby is helping them to knock the rust off, precisely as a great coach should!

Injuries ????....Sims, Rice and Nash......i believe Nash returned in the game....anyone know anything????
First rule of return to dominance, no injuries.

Are you talking major injury? Thats practically impossible at any level for a team to not have anything...

yes, I was referring to a major injury and really the welfare of the player.....I know we do not do a normal run of the mill injury update....

It's the Griz Post Game press conference and the Coach is in charge. If a reporter wants to be w whiny little pencil neck and ask a non sense irrelevant question then the Coach has every right to slap him down and keep control. I commend Coach Hauck for doing just that!

I didn't see it as a dick or a poor question. I think there are a large number of fans who are wondering how the GRIZ will respond at home after the way last year's season ended. Asking a coach that doesn't seem that shitty of a question to me. And one that most coaches would have answered with something along the lines of, "Yeah, our guys are ready to get back out on our home field. They've been anxious for this moment since last November, and we're excited to play in front of a raucous home crowd".

It's not as if a reporter not asking about it means we'll all forget last season.

Voted “Most Likely to Secede” by his HS senior class in 1825. Little known fact.

That is a great line! Has nothing to do with football, but as a History teacher, I am stealing that.
