I'n positive we still don't know what to expect from this team and coaching staff from game to game.

JayLarson said:The last 20 minutes of the game by our defense were a huge positive.
Jordan Johnson put up 447 yards passing, when was the last time that happened for a Griz QB.
We maybe Adams uncomfortable almost the whole second half, and our defense force 3 and outs in the first and third quarters, and the offense did not go 3 and out to start either half, that is an improvement as well.
I can see the point about talking about the positives, I should have saved any negative comments for another thread, but my comments were not meant to be a negative. I was just saying what I saw.

1. Do you have a friend who works for the Panthers organization?
2. If so, was he in Cheney on Saturday?
Hope this helps.

Where did you get that idea?

Sorry, but I still think he should have caught it. Not ripping on the kid at all; it's just when a pass is so on-the-money, the player has to catch it.IntuitiveGriz said:The pass drilled Burke in the shoulder pad, in the very right upper chest!
I replayed that play (after zooming in, and running it in slow-motion) a dozen times. It's as clear as day.
And the pass was not deflected either.

Read above. This really isn't that difficult. Let me know if you have further problems.
Yep, not deflected.....just dropped. That pass would have never been thrown though had the official made the correct call on the TD they ruled incomplete.IntuitiveGriz said:The pass drilled Burke in the shoulder pad, in the very right upper chest!

Too bad it was such a critical part of the game. I think he is going to be a very good possession receiver in the years to come. I was really happy with the "D" at times throughout the game... :egriz:JayLarson said:Burke had a huge drop in the back of the endzone, on a pass that hit him right in the shoulder pad, which led to having to kick that field goal. I was shocked to see him drop that, he usually catches everything.
The ball was NOT touched

Monte, that ball was tipped which caused it to veer off to the side.
Monte, that ball was tipped.

Even though you failed to see it, it was what happened in the end zone.
Though that is a pass he still usually catches.
