Coming back from a serious shoulder injury in football is rare; it's one of the joints they haven't been able to repair very successfully. Tripp may very well be done.

Oh, BS. People come back from shoulder surgery all the time. UM has one or more players come back from shoulder surgery every year on average. Again, feel free to name any UM player in the last 15 years who didn't come back from shoulder surgery. Yes, we know that PItcher came back only briefly.

You don't know what the fcuk you are talking about, as usual. Shoulder injuries are BY FAR the worst bone-tendon injuries for football players. They end the careers of more players than knees or elbows combined. We could ask Greg Cook, about a month ago.

Blown my knee out twice! Ruined my USFL career.

You don't understand. I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am, let's face it. It was you, Charley.

haha i can't wait till you guys eat your words. When spring ball comes around ill will be saying told ya so as well as in the fall. Josh Stuberg hands down high and college better than brock. The kid was a two time 1st all-state soph and jr year both ways. What was Coyle a one timer but thats high school. Watch games brock has not once played mike for the griz call him/fb him/tweet him yourself if you do not believe me. I ain't saying brock isn't good just not his time yet. Josh stuberg has more experience and quicker. You'll see

How so stu is the only one who has played mike and brock would be learning it. Plus stuberg is way more athletic and all around better linebacker

Brock played middle linebacker in high school and was recruited by Hauck to play MLB! believe me you have no idea what your talking about saying Stuberg is way more athletic and all around better.

that is just plain f***[*] stupid! Stuberg is a great player but Brock will be the starter by Fall i guarantee it!!

Natural you would think that Chris, since he is your bother. But face the facts Stuberg ran his ass over in high school and will in college. And if he was better why did Stuberg play over him when caleb came off. O wait Hauck recruited him, but still hasn't played mike for the griz.

You need to stick to ambulance-chasing and stop trying to be a doctor. I spent many years in the orthopedic surgery business, and shoulder injuries are the most difficult bone-tendon injuries to recover from. Since I do not know what Tripp's diagnosis is, I can not comment on the severity of his injury. Just know that shoulder injuries have ended the careers of many a football player.

You should stick to talking about something you know something about (if there is anything in that category). I know what Tripp's injury was.

Seriously: Is there anything you DON'T know? :| :| :|

I don't think he has found out yet whether Pflu wears Jockeys or briefs. But, give him time.

Oh, he knows. He just wants it to stay his dirty little secret

Man you are smart, why aren't there many egrizzers backing you up? Stuberg and Coyle will be competing for the MLB spot but you obviously have no idea what your talking about especially speed and strength. Ask some of your sources inflatrator about who they think is better. Ask who works harder whose bigger, also ask whose faster. Who cares what happened in high school. Great job getting awards but this is who can play now. With Ty as D coordinator watch spring camp/fall camp and we will see.

Competition fuels better play, and it also sparks loads of hard work.

Coyle will definately start. I was more impressed with Coyle than Stuberg as High School players as well. Coyle was the 2nd best player in the State his Senior year in my opinion only trailing Matt Miller of Boise State.

Inflatrator tell your son to keep working hard cuz if he is by far the best linebacker for MLB as you say he is then soon he will be overtaken. You hear it hear first Mofucka

Haha this is not Rob, he doesn't need to get on here to back his son. This is a guy knows more about griz football than any egrizzer on here including you. Look at Dan Moore, the strongest guy on the team and still doesn't start. So strength has nothing to do with it. Its your ability to play the game. Brock might be stronger then Stuberg but doesn't mean he is a better football player. When I talked speed I don't mean who run lines faster than others or 40 I am talking field speed, something you can't measure. Coaches wanted Brock to beat Shaw out last year cuz they weren't happy with his play. They set it up on a silver platter for Brock and he still couldn't get the job done what makes you think this will be any different. He was even stronger and faster then Shaw but fail maybe because he is too soft. Competition didn't fuel better play for Brock last year or this year. The other reason I probably don't have egriz supporters because you have been on here for three years talking your bother up but still yet to start. Plus my sources say ya brock is bigger but stu is smarter and plays more physical. I also love how you speak as if you know about the game. You didn't play football in high school stick to what you know....sking.

I can measure field speed, and of all the LBs the last few years the only one to continually get TORCHED in coverage its Stuberg. He does play physical in the run game and like most Hauck recruits he likes to throw a shoulder instead of wrap up when tackling.......dont tell me about how they teach roll tackling, blah, blah, blah use your speed/footwork to get into position, wrap up and drive......Hermanson it

Stuberg isnt bad but he also isnt fast or fundamental.

Personally, I know what Ive seen and I would take either Gamboa, Holt or Kose over anything we have now at MLB

I've met Stuberg, nice kid, but smart isn't the first word that came to mind. If he is smarter than Brock then we have to judge them both on physical skills. ;)

If Coyle isn't moved to compete for the MLB with Stuberg, then Holt will push for some serious playing time in the middle. He probably will regardless, he could be better than both of those guys. That would be great as I think Stuberg and Coyle are both good players.

Agreed on Holt..............I sent you a PM...."over there"

There are a ton of experts on here... many make great points. Seems to me that there is quite the political battle on here... I guess the players will be the one to determine the outcome. It is not a bad thing that there is quality depth at the LB position, we saw Tripp go down last year....

One question though to infiltrator whats your background...you said your the most knowledgeable egrizzer? who are your sources? are you a coach? Most others are stating their opinions yet you seem to know so much more than other..bless us with your knowledge!! :D

a spy never tells. But with time you will see. Just say I know people. Time will tell esp when spring ball comes around on my knowledge

I would say your posts in the D-line discussion are sufficient proof of your "knowledge"...or severe lack thereof

That's got to be worth at least the cost of coffee these days, right?
