After looking at this breakdown it's hard for me imagine Jed Nagler not being in the mix for a starting job. He is going to be special .

This whole incoming crop of WR's is insane. Every time I try to pick 1 or 2 that stick out, I can't find one that seems more promising than the next. Huge talent coming in at WR.gotgame75 said:WaGriz4life said:After looking at this breakdown it's hard for me imagine Jed Nagler not being in the mix for a starting job. He is going to be special .
A couple of the coaches have speculated that Akem is the most game-ready of any of the incoming freshman. Obviously, that means nothing till they hit the field and show what they can do. Just giving you some perspective from the staff.

I'd bet Lyons. Not many people expecting much of him cus if his size but if Gus (many overthrows towards Naccarato last year) or who ever takes over can get him the ball, I'd bet on big things from him.

Add to that BS along with Haslam getting Fullerton's job I had to move on early.
WR question? I knew more last week.
What say you bigdog?
I see where your going. Not to be too nit picky though but since Bingham is behind Horner, and if Horner has the season were hoping for from him, how is Bingham going to have a breakout season, riding the pine? Unless Lyons don't cut it and having two H rec in the line up is more beneficial. I could see that.NorthEndZoneDan said:alabamagrizzly said:Not too sure I'd consider him a dark horse since he was our scout team player of the year last year. True, but as BW rightly points out, Bingham is probably going to be sitting watching Josh Horner. If Josh has the season we hope and expect, the Bingham having a breakout season would have to be considered a dark horse simply because he should be riding the pine. Thats my two cents anyway.
I need a beer....What the fuck just happened in that post?Umista said:Having a few drinks today with some rabid Griz fans and most of those folks felt we should be getting ready for Stitt's replacement because after two more years he will be moving on to a much higher level.

Yeah.....I know they want to redshirt everybody, but I think during fall camp there will be some serious conversations about guys like Nagler and Sammy Akem being ready to play right away. I trust that Stitt will play true freshman if he knows they are the best we have. He wants to be an elite team next year. You have to have all missiles firing to do that.daGrizJ said:gotgame75 said:WaGriz4life said:After looking at this breakdown it's hard for me imagine Jed Nagler not being in the mix for a starting job. I have been told, of the new WR class, they feel Nagler is the most prepared to play D1 because of his mix of strength, size, and speed. I think Akem could also, but most everyone else needs a year or two in the weight room. That said, I will be very surprised if they all don't RS.

Ecco a voi, U.

I honestly think Bob wants to stay put until Sam graduates HS. Not saying big bucks won't change that but I know he really hates moving his kids around. That's why he was in Golden for 15 yrs.
Not a rumor at all...Holden has already made the transition to LB.bgbigdog said:So it sounds like the rumor about Holden moving to linebacker was incorrect?
I think that's a smart move, after looking at the WRs we pulled in this recruiting class. Holden is built to be a hell of an OLB. Long, has WR speed, nasty hitter, tough mentality, I like it.GrizUp said:Not a rumor at all...Holden has already made the transition to LB.bgbigdog said:So it sounds like the rumor about Holden moving to linebacker was incorrect?
