Thank God, Will Cherry hit both FT's.

They can not make free throws, they are terrible against the full-court press. I am used to the disciplined Griz teams under Heathcote, Brandenburg, Morill, Montgomery, etc. This team is not even in the ballpark with those teams.

I think it was only 2 or 3 years ago the Griz were embarrassed by 40 points by PSU in their own gym. One more win Griz and you get to sleep in your own beds for the tourney!

Nelson's last shot was just like all their slop shots that went in tonight. Good win Griz, any road win is a good one. Glad to see Cherry is a little more like himself, but Selvig needs to find himself, very quickly!!PeauxRouge said:Heh, Good thing Cherry made those FT's. What a shot by Nelson, doesn't matter though.

So you are saying that the griz have not had any diciplined teams since.....what the 90-91 season?

Tell it all you want. Can't make ft's? Ft's actually won this game for them. Qvale is the only one that was off, and he is usually pretty solid. How can you say they did not play with much heart? Were you there? Man, how about giving PSU a little bit of credit. I would say playing without heart they would have lost the game with a strong run from PSU. I don't mean to pick on you, but I hate that comment about no heart.Growler1 said:I gotta tell ya, the Griz did not play with much heart tonight. GrizLA said:One very telling stat that stands out to me...the defense earlier in the year was allowing only about 59 points a game against some pretty sharp shooting teams and now they are in the 70s....something has gone amiss on this team...over playing, too much or too little desire, over or under coaching? Who knows...but, a 20 win season is damn good in any league...fortunately, most of those came early...
