Wow, this kid has issues. I didn't think you could transfer that many times. guess I will have to do some more research on the transfer portal.

I'd take him, or the Oregon St. qb.

Actually, he's a real nice kid. Being the winning quarterback in seven games starting for Georgia is indicative of more than decent and he was a leading candidate for the Heisman going into his last season in Athens, so there's that. I'm interested in seeing where he winds up next fall.

Ya, reading more about him it definitely seems like injuries kind of bit him at his stops at USC and Georgia. I’m still a bit unclear on how the transfer rules work though because I thought the NCAA said it was a one time transfer with immediate eligibility so I don’t know how he’s able to bounce around like this and play right away. Will be interesting to see where he ends up this time. I'm going to go way out on a limb and say it won't be Montana.

Hey, he bleeds cardinal and gold and red and black and blue and gold and TBD.

You had a pretty good kid from Georgia just a few years ago. He did okay, and his name escapes me, but I really think the offense wasn't complimentary to his skill set.

Haha. When the going gets tough, the tough....enter the transfer portal? If and when he graduates from a university to be named later, his transcripts are gonna look awesome!

Sorry, I'm missing the joke here. Unless you're being serious, in which case still not following.

Good but shines through, maybe a little more snark, lake house and relatives that coach

Hubcap needs to do some extra work with his guy Britt. 3 picks in 44 throws for season. Threw a pick 7% of the time. Johnson threw 7 in 305 throws. 2% of time. So, Britt threw 3.5 as many picks this season as Johnson. I'm not dumping on Britt. He obviously has nice potential. He is young and inexperienced. He needs more work, practice and time. 3d Q drives last Saturday were 3-0, 6-14, 3-minus 1, 8-55. So, 20 for 66. Would have been nice to have a bit more O in 3d Q. 75 yards from start of 3d Q until last 5 minutes of the 4th Q. Some good running and good completion percentage for season. Sask, were you a put-in-Britt guy too?

Imagine how good he’d have been if we hadn’t wasted 8 games on Brown? 8-) 8-)

Not trying to be funny. About 2010, and again I'm not certain what year, you had a quarterback who went to high school just outside Athens, Georgia. I believe he was a state champion quarterback at the high school level, went to a power 5 school and transferred to the U of M.

 I actually don't really have an issue with the portal. Just poking fun at "bleeds X" comments.

Either “rats off a sinking ship” or Fisher is cleaning house. One of the two, or maybe a combination of the two.

There are a ton of Oregon Ducks in the portal...
The one thing that sucks about the transfer rules for us is that players good enough to tear it up in FCS don't have to sit a year in FBS anymore, so all the ones who would've considered FCS before probably aren't gonna do so now.

I'd imagine the vast majority of those Ducks players aren't looking at FCS, but I would love it if some of them did.

Justin Roper

Notre Dame's starting qb is in the Portal. https://trojanswire.usatoday.com/2022/12/06/notre-dame-quarterback-drew-pyne-enters-the-transfer-portal/

Where are all the Griz supposedly going to the Portal? I didn't and don't expect many to enter the Portal. Why would they?

I believe the old rules are still in place re: dropdowns after their first transfer and grad transfers, so any FBS kid who already transferred and is not happy with their current school can still drop down to FCS and not sit (unless this is no longer a thing and I just missed it). Same thing with grad transfers (I know that is still a thing).

For this kid in particular, I wanna say some kids get an exemption when their coach bolts or things go wrong at a school, so it's possible he just hit the jackpot of lucky shit in order to move around so much.

He'll get the medical and get to play two more years.

Every time I look on any social media platform ,folks saying all those kids going to Colorado. Coach Sanders will do well in the portal, but not every kid leaving a P5 program wants to go to the buffs. It is getting comical actually. People actually think he will be so dominate year one they will change the rules next year to protect all the white coaches
