Why not thank the Griz, instead of making their allocation of tickets (as well as your donations to UM) seem like some sort of random act? If every youth organization in the state asked for freebies, well, there is no way they would be fulfilled. You probably should have let your conflict of interest known, instead of having a thread start a thread with "Poor Bobcats", instead of "Thank you Grizzlies".

First off UM did not donate the tickets to LGF last year. We asked to buy them and did. I put in the same request to the Bobcats this year, which was to purchase the tickets. No conflict of interest at all. I thanked the Griz last year when they were willing to work with us, just like I'll thank the Bobcats this year if the outcome is the same.
By the way, I didn't start this thread, I only jumped in when someone insinuated the tickets might not go to the kids.
All I'm doing is trying to help some kids get to the Cat-Griz game if they put out some effort towards our fundraiser, which is a large part of our budget. There have been some very successful Bobcat and Griz players come from this program. Geeeez where is all this negativity coming from?

So, if you purchased the tickets last year then the original poster of this thread should be the one admonished for saying his buddy said they were "donated" last year and had asked the same of MSU this year.
