So says the poster with an avatar of a character with a bong. :thumb: How ironic is that?

I have my degree bitch! Go fvck yourself!
You speak of this like having your degree is some big accomplishment? Nowdays, having a college degree is nothing more than a glorified high school dipolma. Has been ever since we as a society came up with this notion that everyone should go to college and that college is for everyone. That attitude has devalued the importance of a college degree. In no way does one need a degree to be successful.

Yeah you're right in some areas but if you're going to get a degree make sure its one where you can make some money when you graduate..... ;)
Well there's a novel concept. If only someone would explain that to the philosophy, literature, and [fill in other worthelss major here] students so the tax payers can stop supporting them.

MSUHunter has a point. Maybe it is a good idea to limit enrollment for the engineering programs offered in this state since a lot of the grads wind up employed outside of MT and we never see the tax dollars invested returned to the state. The same could be said for architecture. Just how many engineers and architects graduates are required to fill the demand in Montana? It might be a good time to reduce the engineering and archicture programs and divert the money to agriculture, business, health sciences, education, environmental, law, and performing arts all of which are likely to have greater demand here in Montana.

So Montana will have 2 major universities, 4 satellite universities, multiple vo-techs, indian colleges all teaching Ag business, hotel management, environmental management and electronic poker machine repair??? ;)

It would be nice if the Vo-techs (which no longer exist) would teach the trades again, but that is prolly to much to hope for,

Totally sucks!! However this young man knew full well what he was doing wrong and decided to do it anyhow. This done in light of what has taken place this past off season. As kids we all did dumb things. However if you saw you brother get the belt for his mistake most of us knew better than to do the same thing. I feel for the kid but his should be removed from the team and have his schollarship pulled. Zero tolerance at this point.

Zero tolerance of what? If he ends up with a felony, then zero tolerance of that would be fine with me. What if his situation goes the diversion route, and he ends up with nothing on his record? What if they have the 2 pills, and the test shows that they were fake pills? Would you think it fair/right to dismiss him for buying something that wasn't even illegal?

Perception sucks! If you pull a toy gun on a law officer and he shoots you because it looks real...than what? You can only die once... Don't attempt to buy or obtain anything illegal if what is important to you matters, like football.

If the person pulling the toy gun is a little kid, or it wasn't reasonable for the law officer to think he was in danger, then the law officer goes to jail.

And this has what to do with a 20 year old college kid purchasing what he believes to be illegal drugs and admitting as much to police?

Ask Reinell. He brought up the toy gun stuff.

Can if this situation to death. The point is, Poole was wrong the minute he attempted to obtain the drug. Real or fake he was wrong and violated team rules.

How can anyone even debate Poole of being innocent? He knowing purchased and possessed drugs. I wish him the best. With everything going on with the GRIZ, I honestly feel this is the time for the GRIZ to make a strong statement, and not tolerate this kind of decision making.

At some point in time, the GRIZ have to make a strong statement and a tone that bad decisions will not be tolerated. At some point the example has to be made of one of these players. The sooner the better, to move forward with cleaning up the program's reputation.

My opinion has nothing to do with Trevor. I think highly of him and his family. It has to do with the decision makers show this crap is a thing of the past, and not tolerated here any longer.

You’re missing the point silly. Actual guilt has nothing to do with it. If a hotshot lawyer can find some tricks to get charges reduced or dropped... Then there's still a chance he could come back and play for the griz1. Who gives a shit if he is guilty of making piss poor decisions... The only thing that matters here is what he gets convicted of. Just ask PR.

I just love Draconian Laws; and to think, good o' Henry VIII had 350 infractions that necessitated capitol punishment. They all went out to Tyndall Hill and no wonder Australia began as it did. They must have had an overflow of those types, i.e., criminal types, so they sent them all away. The British must have thought the same when it came to their colonies in the "New World" as well.

"If you can't educate anybody; call it all a felony; no matter what."

So you are saying...no consequences, just say I'm sorry and learn from it?? Just asking.
