I would suggest that with everything on this coaching staff's plate to just take a step back and consider removing some additional stress - mostly the points around this argument.

While I don't hit practices during the season I do plan to talk with Coach Delaney or someone on the staff before spring camp starts. I'd like to keep doing twitter updates but I don't want cross some line that could be detrimental to the team and it's future planning.

Serious thinkers must be laughing themselves toward sober-dim after reading all this secret practice stuff. Excessively active like in overactive?

I am certain the pre game jitters has affected many clean livers. Models of and examples of excellence.

So many Griz crack pots jabber, film, talk, drink, lie, BS and attempt to state what they think the team is doing and what they "see" the team doing that any self respecting opponent does not have a chance deciphering or understanding any of this garbled nonsense. Only one of us that gets it is "old what's his name."

Take an aspirin with a cold glass of water and bingo it all fades away.

Now when I pull into Lot P driving my red 1985 pickup truck with "I hate Obama nuts" stickers will old Alfa shoot me with a dart or secretly film me? And subsequently send that serious informative stuff over to coach Ash? I'll be hiding behind my big breasted blonde girl friend but you never know. Booze does funny things.

As I said elsewhere, as a coach I could give two shakes about what fans are doing in the stands at practice. I have more pressing concerns as to whether tom, dick or harry choose to tweet, film, live blog, or send smoke signals at practice. Why, because tweets, clips made up by amatuer filmers has about as much use as a poopy flavored lolly pop to Joe Glenn or any opposing coach when it comes to game planning. And if you think they do, I suggest asking a coach to sit in on a gamefilm session and gameplanning session. Could you mine some nugget of information from the film that Alpha posted on Maroonblood? Maybe.

Now I know coaches that are absurdly hypersensitive to the presence of anyone but school personnel within 5 square miles of practice. They believe there is some larger conspiracy to give important elements away. Bobby Hauck was one of those guys.

In the end it is the Administration and Coaching staff's decision to police practices and who or what is allowed. First, as a general rule college coaches love (in the most sarcastic way possible) to hear complaints about other fans behavior at practices and games. Secondly, it is absurd that in the scope of things that we have fans battling on here and other places for the crumbs that players and coaches feed them.

I know college football coaches at numbers of institutions but I sure as hell wouldn't come on here and spouting off that i just got done talking to Coach Glenn, Coach Delaney or any other coach. I know that you cannot help petty behavior, but this thread is just astounding in so many ways. Just seems so third grade to me.

Look, if Delaney chose to scream at yell at someone at fall camp that is his own perogative. He can do whatever he pleases. If he really wants to spend his practice time looking into the stands for people with cameras and cell phones, then that is completely his own choice. I just know that most coaches would have sent a minion or had someone within the a.d. to take care of the camera issue. Which is why incidentally, when this was first reported on maroonblood, I thought the report of the incident was dubious. If he did (Delaney that is) again that is his own choice.

I don't pick sides here, but there is so much bloviating in regard to personality conflicts on this site as well as maroon blood and the connections we have or don't have, that much of this seems like a petty third grade activity.

Most schools as has been my experience at spring practice have posted before you walk in the facility that no cameras or phones may be used as a recording device. If people knowingly ignore the postings, then they deserve to get publically berated by a member of the administration or coaching staff. In this case, I don't think that was or is the case, so I'll just leave it at that.

Oh and congratulations on your degree where if you don't go to grad school you're going to be working as a trainer at a gym, as a PE teacher or if you're lucky, you might get to be an Athletic Trainer. Solid thinking there bub.
