Does this win officially get the Griz in? I would think 9-2 and being ranked 7 would do it but you never know. They might just say the Griz would have to win next week

Scats win today and they are probably in, even with a huge, humiliating loss next week. :thumb:MTGriz87 said:How is everyone so sure of this? I see this thread, and then I see posts about us possibly eliminating MSU from playoffs if we beat them next week - that doesn't make sense to me
If the Cats lose today (won't happen) and we beat them next week then it is highly unlikely that they will make the playoffs. Whether we win next week or not we should be in the playoffs no matter what. However, if we win next week we have a better chance of getting a 1-8 seed. But if we lose we are still in, though probably without a seedMTGriz87 said:How is everyone so sure of this? The way I see it is the We should be in no matter if we are 10-2 or 9-3. You really can't keep a team out like that no matter what happens against the Kitties next week. By the way if they can't score a lot today which the probably will they wont next week!MTGriz87 said:How is everyone so sure of this? FWIW, the Cats would have four (maybe five, depending on how today's game turns out -- they're trailing at halftime) losses....MTGriz87 said:How is everyone so sure of this? putter said:OPSU does not count for playoffs. IMO, if Montana loses to the Cats there is not seed. Probably a first round home game but no top 8

I thought this year, division II games counted towards playoff eligibility?

That's what I thought.
Shhh. Don't tell the eGriz experts know. It would totally ruin their playoff projectionsGrizMusician said:get'em_griz said:putter said:OPSU does not count for playoffs. IMO, if Montana loses to the Cats there is not seed. Probably a first round home game but no top 8

This. But, if the Cats lose today (which they currently are) and again next week, I wouldn't be surprised if they were out....Dozy said:Griz are in, win or lose next week, especially with the expanded playoffs.
