Place kicker

Worst will be fine. He pulled everything last week, even the good PATs. He will work that out. He is consistent; something Lider never is. The fact that Lider is still traveling indicates the coaches are not yet completely convinced. We forget that as freshmen, both Brady and Dan had their struggles.

This^^^^Lider has been way more inconsistent. You can't hook PATs to where they miss. I'm not an expert but footwork seems to be the issue for both kickers. Perhaps someone with kicking knowledge can help us out here. :thumb:

it would also help special teams, if the kick offs were deeper...

Was Lider kicking off deeper than Worst is, I really don't remember?

No, whether by design or scheme Worst seems to have a bigger leg on kickoffs. Lider's KO's rarely resulted in touchbacks, whether that is a result of coaching or his inability to boot it that far is not something we can measure. Worst seems to be able to kick it deep for a touchback, in my observation.

Worst barely missed two 40+ FG attempts

That would be a good day for Lider

True story, let's hope Worst can tighten up his foot work and center those kicks, his improvement in this area could well determine how long we will last when we get to the playoffs.

Lider's kicks are duck hooks in dead air, Worst hit two fades in a cross wind from over 40 yards.
