Oh so the setting up in the POWER I is the only thing that defines power running team? Sure the Cat's have other options. Why not use them to set up running between the tackles or vice versa? Don't be so jealous of the versatility.

So you think Oregon is a "power running team"? I got news for you, they aren't (not that I am saying the Bobcats = Ducks). Power running teams line up and jam the ball down your throat. MSU is not a power running team regardless of how you might like to re-define the term.

Not saying the Cat's are a PURE power run team. But they have that facet to their offense. In the last few weeks Cramsey has been bringing in Godecke as a 6th offensive linemen with Big T on his side in an unbalanced set (that's 2 linemen on one side and 4 on the other). Everyone in the stands knows that either Newell or Knight is getting the ball to that side and yet they do it anyway with success. Sure it's out of the shotgun but it's still down hill running.

OK, fair enough. We will see how the power running goes for the cats this weekend. It will be especially interesting to see the red zone rushing statistics. Cramsey is a smart dude and I'm telling you he will be utilizing a lot of short dump passes and screens. Some behind the lb's crossing routes and some fly sweeps. The zone reads will be limited and the TE will be used quite a bit..

Exactly...you posters act like the Griz are undefeated and haven't given up a single rushing yard all season.

The Griz D-MSU O will be a wash. Two solid units slugging it out. Each will have its moments. However, if the Cats want to run at one our best defensive players in recent memory, I can live with that.

The game will be won/lost on the other side of the ball, and I don't see the Cat defense being able to keep up for four quarters. Not great against the run or the pass. The Grizzly offense has not been spectacular, either, but we have a few senior horses who will make a difference against a sub-par defense.

I just hope the Refs will call the holding of Wags this week. Two weeks in a row, only one call made. Double team on him is one thing, but ripping his jersey off is another. Takai will be a real force in this game. How is his knee?

They're not the MOST arrogant, just the most arrogant in comparison to their level of success. NDSU fans deserve their arrogance, Cat fans not so much. 2 playoff wins in the last decade and they think they belong at the top... It's funny in a cute way.

I am so tired of watching Wags being held (as well as being double- and triple-teamed) on every play -- and no flags ... again and again and again. It was all I could do not to run screaming onto the field in Cheney.

Technically, the Cats have had 13 consecutive winning seasons, the best in the BSC. So, considering where they came from, a little arrogance is in order.

Cats are a power running team.

No, they are not. They can run between the tackles in certain situations. But it needs to be set up with the fly sweep or something to spread out the defense with Johnson or the threat of Prukop to run. But they are not a line up and get four yards when they need it with the power I..
