Pick your play: Sports Center vs. Championship

I watched the Montana post-win interview where Fabijan Krslovic was told the play where UNC's Davis dunked on him was going to be on ESPN's Sports Center. Fab's coach, Travis DeCuire stoutly defended Kryslo for being unafraid to step up on D, over & over.
So... here's a great sequence: In truth, I'll take the play by Griz Bobby Moorehead that catapults Montana into the Big Sky Championship over the flashy play that ended up not mattering...

Gosh, from that vantage point you can almost imagine that arena isn't 7/8 empty!

Well, it had those that matter and that is what counts.

The slam over the top of Fab made ESPN top 10. Not number 9 or 10, but number ONE!!!!! The announcer said something like, “ they are partying at the Mo Club because Montana got the win.”
We got some LOVE!
GO GRIZ!

The win is all that matters too! Davis can have his dunk memory. The Griz are moving on to the championship game!

I've watched it on ESPN several times tonight and it is so cool! Even though ESPN sucks anymore, I'm glad ESPN showed the rest of the important plays and the victory celebration.

Exactly! :thumb: That is basically what the announcer said, too.

Bobby Moorehead: Thank you!! Thank you for simply not allowing this team to lose. You embody GRIZ BB.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

that was Neil Everett, he's a Spokane kid, been to the Mo Club on several occasions and has given a shout out to the Mo Club before!

Missing two free throws to put the game away in regulation must qualify for some sort of sports center razzie award.

Yeah, I kinda feel for the young man. He's been a solid player for NoCol: averaged a bit over 6 points per game and nearly 6 rebounds. But all anyone will remember were those free throws. Of course, it's still about "team" and it wasn't his "fault" alone that those shots mattered.

...so spud webb and rodney dangerfield...
...on the way back to the stockyards...
...and espn still on life support...
...griz are playing tonight...

... ...

Without the two stupid fouls and the 10 second violation those two free throws would be meaningless (and very well may not have even happened). His was just the latest in a long line of chokes for UNC last night.

Yep. Exactly my point.
