Petition to bring back Hauck

When Delaney's retirement became official, Bobby Hauck was 1st on my realistic coaching wish list. Since then, I have kept mind open to Pease and Stitt. I admit, when Stitt 1st surfaced, I really questioned the possibility of him becoming the GRIZ new head coach. A few coaching friends of mine in Colorado spoke very highly of him, and how great his offensive coaching clinics were for them. They said, his clinics were the best of 100's of clinics they have been to over the years. They told me Stitt would be a great choice for Montana football.

After getting their insight, I read every post on Stitt, and which egrizzers were behind him, or at the very least open minded to his hiring. I then did some research of how he is thought of in college coaching. I am impressed with list of coaches and programs backing Stitt. I also got texts, emails, messages etc out of the blue from others that gave me more insight on Stitt.

As things are now, I am excited to have his hiring become official. I have no idea why or what the delay is. I'm glad I took the time to research and get the feedback I did before crucifying Haslam, Engstrom, the BOR, etc for anyone but Hauck or Pease. Only time will tell how Stitt works out here. I went from having a negative feeling due to the unknown to being as positive on this hire as anyone the GRIZ could have chosen.

Let's get this hire done and support Stitt. Please, no damn petition for anyone.

Has Hauck even made a formal announcement he is interested?, I have not seen one that says he is not so I guess no news is, well whatever it is.
I for one would welcome back Hauck for sure and end this 5 year nightmare.
With Bobby we pretty muck know what he can do and right now I'm for more of a tried system then starting over with a coach at a level down division.

I haven't heard anything. But then again, I've been stumbling around over here watching dead end leads turn into vapor.
 
I think the way to sway RE is to put together an angry mob and march on Main Hall. Break a few windows, occupy the building. Call it Occupy Griz Football, get the press out to cover it, and I think he is the type of person that will bend to your demands.

Hauck is the Bud Grant of the FCS. He left Montana for a lukewarm step up to a doormat mid major program and that to me shows his loyalty to Montana. Would he have applied for the job if he hadn't been terminated at UNLV? Would he have even remembered there was a Montana if things had been on an upward trajectory at UNLV?
