Totally agree Hauck as bad a coach as he was knew how to deal with fumble problems. Nguyen shouldnt be on a football field ever for any reason.

I'm not all about excuses, but I was at the game, and with the winds swirling the way they were, it was an absolutely terrible day to field a punt. The field itself is fairly protected from the wind, but when a punt gets high up in the air, it's suddenly getting jacked all over the place. All the more reason that Peter Nguyen should not even have attempted to field the punt inside the 10 yard line--- and that's as much a coaching issues than anything else.

Most ST coaches tell the returner on short field punts to put his heels on the 10 yard line and NEVER take a step back. When this is executed properly then you don't have returners trying to catch punts they shouldn't. Either it is a lack of fundamentals coaching or lack of execution. Either way BAD.

The ONE glaring reality of this as was pointed out earlier... whether its Pete, Naccarto, Dennard or whoever we put back to field a punt... YOU DON'T TRY TO CATCH A PUNT (in windy conditions or otherwise) AT THE FEKKIN' 5-YARD LINE. :wtf:

Nguyen deserves all the criticism he is getting.

He puts the ball on the ground when people point out FACTS douchebags like Player Rep and others take personal shots. Why do they do this? Because they have nothing to support their stupid dick riding agenda and it also deflects the conversation away from the FACT Nguyen puts the ball on the ground.
