How many times did Peter get tackled in the secondary by a defender using one hand?
He never gets to the secondary.......but if you want to talk about how many times he got tackled by first contact then the answer would be 167.

Nguyen shouldnt be on the field EVER for any reason.

at least three runs today went past the line of scrimmage into the secondary, the defender made a play by tackling Peter with one hand. or it might have been that he tripped on the white paint, it was hard to tell which.

I can't remember Nacarrato having any good run backs past the 30 yard line for the year. Why is he back there for kickoffs.

I am over watching Peter Nguyen fumble week in and week out for at least the last three years...Its always just a matter of time...Go Griz...Why not correct that.

Where the hell was Counts and Kirschner today? They pulled the redshirt off of Counts last week.. why aren't we using him in short yardage? Very bizarre personnel and play calling today..

Yep. The Counts decision is a real head scratcher, and I have been calling for Kirschner to get carries all year. I'm trying, but there isn't any way to sugar coat the poor playcalling and clock mismanagement I saw today.

Wow. You called out a 21 or 22 year old kid for making a mistake. Congratulations, that took guts.
The problem is that it is the same mistake over and over again. If you employ a 22 year old and he make the same mistakes constantly, I hope you would call him out. I understand he is a kid and he is trying hard; maybe the coaching staff needs to find another 21 year old kid who won't continually cost his team.

Yeah, I know, and who are you?

What do mean who am I - daddy. I am a customer, I am fan, I am person making a point, tried to do it respectfully, but apparently that doesn't work with you

+1 Hammer. Several 2 and short yardage plays that are so predictable they get stuffed in the backfield running into a stacked box. Also, every time the RB goes into motion, they run it to the same side where the RB comes from. This issue now is recruiting is going to be an uphill battle.

Fact with Peter N fielding punts the Risks out weighs the Reward. Peter certainly has muffed to many and cost his team mates greatly. Peter is a hit and miss guy in my opinion. Shows flashes of amazing runs and then, well flops.

Coach D should see this and keep Peter from fielding punts. Myself I think Peter should ride the pine for a bit. You muff or fumble regularly for time, you sit out a bit until you use better judgement or hang on to the ball. BUT after he sits out a while he has to have a shot again. You can't just chain em up..

As for Counts not seeing the field today. Again very shocking to play Counts so limited last weekend and then nothing this weekend, very odd. Maybe Counts asked coach D why he did not get more carries last weekend since his red shirt was used up. Coach got pissed and has shelved young Mr. Counts......until........

Just how viable is a punt returner that fields punts on their own five yard line? Is that standard practise for all teams that play football at the high school level?..is it for the collegiate? Would it most definitely be for the most professionally trained athletes in the World of American Football, that is the NFL, to consider such a precedure as standard operating procedure?

The quality of life is growth, and that's learning. When is that ever going to take place then? Or do you pompously suppose you're big enough to go on forever "forgiving" as if there is no recoil. One doesn't have to be "someone" in order to empirically qualify a losing scenerio; just like it's not a matter of education in order to being courteous, it's a matter of common sense.

AG1, relax man. I even manned up and admitted you were one hundred percent on the money, though I NEVER POSTED that you weren't. No need to go so hostile now, just take solace in that you were right.

How was Bozeman>?

I think he's more calling out the head coach for not having the balls to give somebody else a chance. Does he have pics that blackmail the coaching staff? You hear about the infamous doghouse. How many time can you cough it up in critical situations and not lose your job?

He is probably far more upset than you. Poor kid knows he fumbled and it sits in his head while he tries to NOT fumble..thinking about not fumbling might well be his problem. He gives the Griz some great effort. It is not his fault this team has no direction. From UM President to assistant coaches, they are killing the Golden Goose that laid a lot of cash filled eggs...Don't blame the players.

Couldn't agree more. Yeah the punt sucked... REALLY sucked... but you know what was more costly and has been in 3 of our losses so far this year? Coaching.

Players can overcome a bad mistake like a fumble, a bad INT, or blown assignment that allows another team to get a huge play.

Players cannot overcome the horrible coaching that's going on right now. I don't care who we have returning punts, playing QB, safety or any other position. The wtf moments in coaching right now are by far the biggest problem. We could be 6-1 right now... pretty damn easily. Yet we aren't...3 of those games we had leads (two of them significant leads) and took our foot off the gas, went away from what was working, got insanely conservative, then tossed in a handful of "WTF WERE THEY THINKING?" coaching moments and managed to end up 3-4.

Up 24-7 against NAU at home..we lose 31-41
Up 26-17 late in the 4th quarter against EWU...we lose 26-32
Up by 4 (could've been more if we actually had a coach that understood clock management) at halftime. Decide to go insanely conservative like the previous 2 losses, have our usual WTF?! moments and lose 30-20.
