My comment has nothing to do with Petek’s legal problems. It’s about you and your lack of a moral compass. You don’t hesitate to bring up personal failings about posters or their family members.

You’re not an honorable man.

I pity you.

The Old "PR" has been drawn out of retirement. Sad to see.

Yep. Same as it ever was.

Remember when he wasn't posting and how good the board was?

Good times.

I sure do. No Growler and no PR. The short-lived ‘golden age’ of e-Griz.

I was posting the whole time. You were just too pitiful to know. I pity you, and your ilk.

Any chance we can get the Bud Light "Real men of Genius" song to automatically play whenever this thread is opened?

I have a hunch PR is probably correct that the charges will get dropped. Petek probably told her to make up a story other than him pulling her hair out and smashing her phone or else........

Also, I respect and admire the hell out of lawyers that represent innocent people that truly need help. Lawyers that represent people they know are guilty and do anything they can to keep dangerous people from getting locked up? Zero respect for those types of douchebag lawyers.

Corporate law and criminal defense are 2 entirely different animals, almost worlds apart. Not sure a career drawing up contracts, advising businesses on tax shelters, real estate transactions etc. gives that person much more insight into the validity of domestic violence charges than a layperson.

Being the troubled and steroid-using son of a now deceased lawyer, doesn't give one much insight into the law either.

Wow bro, you really are a creep. Who hurt you? The rampant insecurity it takes to cultivate this rancid persona you've created is literally mind boggling. It's quite the legacy you built for yourself.

The reality is you spit this vileness because you know the things i call you out on are true. Might want to try some self-awareness at some point. It's no secret, you've been the same guy on here for a decade plus.

I should report this comment just for how over the top egregious it is, but nah, I'm going to let it ride because it shows this whole board the essence of who you are as a person... and that is priceless.

Actually representing large corporations and their executives who get into trouble, and then overseeing and working with top criminal defense lawyers in one's firm and some of the top defense lawyers in the country, gives huge insight into criminal laws, defense and matters. And any lawyer knows more about criminal laws and defense, than virtually all non-lawyers.

As an example, I worked closely with Ted Wells on an important matter. "Some of Wells' more notable clients include Michael Espy, Senator Robert Torricelli,[2], Scoter Libby and Congressman Floyd Flake.[10] He represented former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer against allegations stemming from his alleged involvement in a prostitution ring.[11] In November 2013, the National Football League hired Wells to prepare a report on a bullying incident with the Miami Dolphins involving Richie Incognito.[13] The report, released on February 14, 2014, made headlines for its finding of "a pattern of harassment".[14 He also represented the NFL in Deflategate. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Wells. I hired Wells and worked closely with him. I later gave him permission, on behalf of my client, to represent Mike Espy. He won that case in a jury trial. I've been hired as an expert in several criminal matters/trials.

Knowing facts of a matter is also very important to understanding a case.

Damn bro you know Ted Wells??? No way! Real titan of history you've got there.

You've brought Wells' name up multiple times over the years now. It's just a very odd flex. No one cares and I don't say that in an attempt to demean you, its just reality.

Recommendation: If you are going to drop names in an obvious attempt impress people, might want to consider if people know or even give a shit who they are. If you have to include a hyperlink and write a biography just so your audience has any clue who that person is, then it probably isn't a name worth dropping.

PS: You self-applied the name PlayerRep. I'm curious, which players did you represent exactly? And was it legally or as a self-appointed eGriz spokesperson?

He actually didn’t write it, he just copied and pasted. He left the footnotes reference numbers included😂.

I never understood why he would appropriate that "screen name" in the place of the true Griz player agent, my good friend Ken Staninger. I was glad to see Jack moved on from it and hope he let's that handle RIP.

We didn't learn anything new, however.

Nope. it is a type of plea agreement. My understanding is that you are not sentenced, and as such, you are not convicted. After the terms are met, the arrest/proceeding can be sealed or expunged, in most circumstances. You should get your legal advice from lawyers, not plumbers or lay people. Ha.

In a deferred prosecution agreement the charges are suspended (or not filed) and if the defendant meets all conditions imposed, the charges are dismissed at the end of the deferral period.

In a deferred imposition of sentence the defendant DOES plead guilty or nolo contendre and sentencing is technically deferred, but the conditions of deferral usually mirror all standard probation conditions and payment of a fine, CD evaluation, Anger management, etc., it is jail, DOC or MSP custody that is deferred. If the defendant completes the deferral period without violation the guilty plea is withdrawn and the charge dismissed, and the file sealed from public view.

Yup. I note the following: "the guilty plea is withdrawn and the charge dismissed, and the file sealed from public view."

Petek should have been locked up years ago. He's a dangerous person for many reasons. Loved him as a Griz, but he's been a menace to society for years.

Well, Zirg, you, and for that matter all the other self-righteous posters on this site as well, should say that to his face. A recent picture was posted on google so you know what he looks like. Wouldn't want you to man-up to the wrong guy. Mano a Mano. He shouldn't be too hard to find. Helena ain't LA. Let us know how it turns out.

So that is the bar on whether or not someone should face criticism of their behaviour? It should only be allowed if you say it to their face. I suppose that would cut down on the amount of criticism in the world but I feel like probably those who are prepared to resort to physical violence would have a decided advantage as to the scope of their behaviour.

If your including me in that “self-righteous” group, all I’m saying is that if he really physically abused his wife, he should face the consequences. Growing up with a dad who abused my mom, I know how mentally harmful this can be for children. Do you not agree that if he’s physically abusing his wife, he should be stopped? Unfortunately though, like it many situations like this, she’ll not press charges and he’ll walk and the abuse will usually continue. If the allegations are true and I had the opportunity to, I’d be more then happy to tell him to his face how much damage the abuse does to his wife and child.
