That would have been a good get...I didn't think he'd fall that far. As a Husker fan he was disappointing but ya gotta get it done at that level. Youngstown is going to be tougher than hell.

Did any of you see the 30 for 30 on the Youngstown Boys? Bo is headed home, not a chance in hell he would have been interested in our opening.

It's not accurate that he has taken the job. It's mixed that he has taken it and he's thinking it over.

And as a life-long Husker fan, not a chance in hell I would have wanted him here. Can't remember a time I was so happy to see a coach go.

Not many colleges or NFL teams located in Podunk, Montana????

Either that or parents and grandparents.....

This report is nothing but a cruel charade. Yesterday's ..."in other FCS coaching news" thread quoted Infallible Alpha as saying "...there was no way a team like Youngstown would hire Peleini after Nebraska fired him."

I believe AG1 over the AP, and even the Youngstown AD. What do they know?

As I said in the other thread...born and raised in Youngstown...a chance to go home. Nothing wrong with that when other school is paying your way....meaning NE

Was born in Nebraska, parents graduated from NU, and I watched Neb/Okla game every Thanksgiving in Omaha, from Devaney through Osborne and start of college at UM. 2/3's of my relatives still live in Nebraska. They have kids and friends with kids that were recruited by NU and Pelini. After his second year, even though all the kids dreamed of playing for Nebraska, they would not send their kids to be coached by that anger-issued nut-job. Pelini couldn't win on the big stage because he couldn't get the recruits. He has a good football mind but I wouldn't touch Pelini until after at least 5 years of serious electroshock therapy.

After seeing him screaming at players on the sideline... I wondered what parents would want to send their kids to play under Pelini.

How great would it have been to see O'Day and Pflugrad go out in the blaze of glory like Pelini did at Nebraska? Calling your boss a C---t and then leaving with $7million in your pocket is pretty epic.
